I love anything made with their cookies and cream protein base. On my most recent visit they were out of quite a few protein powder flavors, which was slightly disappointing because for the price of the shakes, you do hope to get a flavor you enjoy, but it gave me an opportunity to try the banana cake and peanut butter cup both were good but I found the banana flavor to be a touch on the artificial side. I can't stay away from this place! If you follow them on Instagram, their daily posts and stories will have you craving a shake. I love seeing their shake of the week flavor and giving it a try. There is a wide variety of shakes on their menu, but I definitely have several favorites I like to rotate! Currently I'm loving the Crazy Monkey and Birthday Cake and White Chocolate Reese's are all delicious. For $6 a shake, they keep for you full for a long time!!!! They offer a punch card for frequent visitors (like myself!!). Once you buy 9 shakes, your 10th shake is free. Another little bonus is their Happy Hour special on Thursday! From 5-7pm, they have shakes for $5 each!! A great time to stop in and try them out! I highly recommend giving Healthy Way Lex a try!! I always love Herbalife cafes but I do really like this one. Themis is the first one that opened in Lexington and the owner is very sweet. I feel like the snacks are cheaper at this one then at others which I like bc after you buy the shake/tea/aloe and start adding other stuff it can become pricey for one stop but not here. I recommend this place for sure. They can make you a protein shake in anything you might crave and it's healthier. read more

Great service, delicious shakes and teas. There are tons of shakes from which to choose. First choose the tea you want. I typically choose the peach tea. Next, pick whatever base flavour you want, under the flavour is a list of the shake options. My favourite shake is the snickers. This shake is filling enough to replace a meal or can be an after gym pick me up. I went with my girlfriend to check this place out today. She had seen it on social media and wanted to give it a shot. As soon as we walked in we noticed it had a lot of people inside. Unfortunately, there was only a single employee working today. We had never been before and were curious what the hype was all about. We knew nothing about it and were certainly hoping for a good experience. On first glance walking in, it was a strange setup of a bar area with assorted tables and chairs with every single bar seat occupied. Upon waking in, no one greeted us or tried to be helpful showing us how to order. We didn't know what to do because the only employee was busy making shakes for the people at the bar area and never said one word to us. Do we sit and wait to order? Do we approach and order at the bar area? We ended up awkwardly standing and waiting to see what others did, since there wasn't exactly a clear idea of what to do. Eventually realizing that we had to take our own initiative, I sat down and waited for my girlfriend to order. She was told that iced tea and an odd sounding 'aloe shooter' came with a shake. She got that and sat with me. We waited and waited and no one asked what shake she wanted to order. Finally, she went again and had to take the initiative to tell the employee what she wanted. I will say, that is fine if told how the ordering process works, but it was bad in this situation because there was absolutely no clear understanding of what was supposed to happen to experience this place or order something. Heck, we even said it was our first time trying it and no insight was given to us. After waiting over 30 minutes throughout this entire process...yes 30 minutes, she finally received the shake. It was a white Reese's I believe. The employee never explained to us what makes this business with their so called 'healthy' shakes or teas any different than other places. I honestly have no idea what was in that shake or what was in the tea or shooter. The employee made no effort to explain what everything was, except that it 'improved metabolism' and 'improved digestion'. Now, I'm a skeptic when it comes to 'healthy' shakes. I've seen Zija and other products that are based on distribution business models. Personally I don't believe the hype wth the tangible health benefit tacked on with their name. We looked around the place and noticed tons of HerbaLife products for sale. Were these included in the recipes of the shakes and tea? It would've been nice to know, although I only assume they are. Overall, I will not be back. I only give two stars because the shake tasted good. On the other hand, the shooter and iced tea weren't so great. To conclude this, I would say that my dissatisfaction is a result of extremely long waiting time, lack of helpful explanation of what their shakes really are and contain, and the awkwardness of having no idea how to order or anyone trying to help us out. I simply do not understand what makes this place different than others selling shakes. I do understand it wasn't the employee's fault for being overwhelmed, but management needs to avoid understaffing in times of heavy congestion and be transparent about what their products are and contain. read more

In all honesty, I enjoyed this a lot more than I expected to. I'm all down to try new things, but I was skeptical going in. The price was surprisingly good for what you get, too! You start out by doing an aloe shot, then a small cup of ice tea, and finally your smoothie with a flavor of your choice. And the choice isn't easy - there are so many interesting options! All 3 drinks you get have a different health benefit. I believe they were metabolism, digestion, and then a meal replacement (I could be mistaken about those purposes, though). The aloe shot was a bit weird, but not unpleasant. The tea was nice and tart. I got a chocolate mint smoothie. The flavor was nice, but the texture wasn't exceptional. It appeared to be just powdered and liquid flavors blended with ice, so it felt quite grainy and artificial. Next time I'd probably go for a fruity smoothie, as I saw they were made with real fruit and not just flavors. I don't know if I felt a big different after drinking all this, but it was a light and refreshing way to get full, rather than eating a large meal. The concept here was quite interesting and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. And all three drinks are included in the overall flat price, which was nice and felt like a good deal! read more

This is a great place to go for a shake that tastes like dessert but is also good for you. They give you a shot of mango and aloe (to keep things moving ) and a flavored herbal iced tea. Then the best part, you pick a shake from the huge list. I've had 5 or 6 flavors so far and I've loved all of them. It's one flat price regardless of the shake you choose which is nice. I really love Herbalife smoothie bars but this one is by far my least favorite. I wouldn't call their smoothies "smoothies" they are more like icees. Icey chunks and VERY watery. Most places that I've been to the smoothies turn out thick and you HAVE to drink them through a thick straw, not this one. I would give them another shot but the staff wasn't very friendly either so won't be returning and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

The only thing I regret is that I didn't discover this place before now! I went in being somewhat familiar with the products, but left knowing much more! The owner is SO sweet, passionate, knowledgeable and friendly! She was able to help me understand the products better , and was so insightfu. This place is so so good. All of the shakes were very low calorie (around 250 each) and super high in protein. You get a free herbal tea when you go, but it honestly tastes like water. My only complaint was that the shakes were $7 each which is kind of pricey. Overall really good and will definitely go here again. read more

Only tried because Kentucky Blended Nutrition was closed today. Healthy Way Lex is no where near KBN service and quality. When first walking in the place looked nice, but when my wife asked "What flavors of tea do you have?" The girl tending replied "The same 4 we have all the time." How are we supposed to know having never been there? Next, we were rushed for our orders. After getting our orders the girl tending commenced to make our completely watered down and huge ice chunk shakes. Also to add they used no real fruit in our shakes such as KBN does. It was all syrups. Needless to say we won't be back and we live just a block away. read more
