When there was no improvement, the doctor's feedback was a shrug and claim that there are no guarantees treatments will work, followed by a recitation of the same lifestyle changes we walked in already knowing. Finally, an absurd bill for the non-service complete with charge for mailing said bill.

Now, three years later, I had to send my hearing aids in for repair. I live in Gunnison, Colorado, about 3 hours away from the Grand Junction main office. I was able to meet with Dr. Buisson at the Gunnison office (in Gunnison Valley Hospital) for my annual hearing test, as well as the return of my repaired hearing aids. Her weekly visits to Gunnison allowed me to schedule my appointment locally, saving me a three hour drive to Grand Junction. Dr. Buisson is extremely professional and very knowledgeable about hearing loss. She took time to reprogram my hearing aids based on the findings in my annual check up, and even reinstalled the Phonak app to my cell phone when I couldn't get the app to work properly. I often find today's technology challenging, yet my appointment with Dr. Buisson removed all anxiety. I left the appointment feeling like I had found a new friend, in addition to having found a trusted professional to work with my hearing loss/hearing aids. The quality of care provided by Western Colorado Hearing Clinic and Dr. Buisson is unmatched.
