The vail health Edwards surgery center is really great. great staff, great building. everyone is so…read morenice.

I have lived in the Vail Valley for over 20 years, and in that time I have had two knee…read morereplacements (thank you Dr. Nathan Cafferkey!) and rotator cuff surgery (thank you Dr. Richard Cunningham!) all performed at Vail Hospital. As of today I need to add to that list, a hernia surgery performed by Dr. Turner Lisle. Another stellar performance by the excellent surgeons and staff at the excellent Vail Health hospital in Vail, CO. From the moment I checked in at admissions right through to the moment I checked out I was expertly cared for by the entire staff including Cary, Lily, and Grant who were cheerful, charming, and caring at all times making the whole surgery process as smooth and comfortable as any surgery could possibly be. Vail Health's use of the excellent Da Vinci surgical robot (used in both of my knee replacements and the hernia repair) has resulted in minimally invasive and excellent results in all three cases for me, and I highly recommend it. A normal hernia procedure without Da Vinci requires a far larger incision with 6-8 week recovery time, whereas Dr. Lyle has cleared me for near full recovery in 7-10 days. Amazing! I play pickleball 3 hours a day, ride my mountain bike 4-5 days per week, and ski 30-50 days a year, so sports are the focus of my life. I am 68 years old, going on 48 thanks to everyone at Vail Health! cheers!
