When I bought hearing aids this year, I signed to pay $2,000, but when I got to the desk, the woman insisted they were $2,200 and tried to scare me into paying an extra $200, until I showed her the paperwork. And when I had my hearing exam, the audiologist kept tugging my ears in a way that hurt. I asked her to stop several times, but she wouldn't. I figured this is simply something you have to put up with there to get hearing aids. But I wouldn't suggest leaving a child or vulnerable elderly person alone with them. Particularly not a vulnerable elderly person with a credit card. Unfortunately my mom is also a patient, so I'm going to have to take off work to sit with her when she goes in because I do not trust these people. Right now, I'd just like to get my medical records. I've been asking for them for a month now.

Mind you this was the first time I've ever received a call from her for services rendered just over a month ago, and had not even gotten in a word before she became aggressive with me. I know it can be tough dealing with insurance denials day in and out, but customers deserve better than the condescending tone and disrespect given yesterday. I will not be back.

My friend found out that Dr. Jacobs was doing an annual event that gave a pair of top of the line hearing aids for free to a deserving person. After having major surgery, I had a follow up office visit and the day of the visit the morning of the visit hour before the I received an email not even a phone call canceling my appointment. I've asked several times for different documents to be placed in the portal for example a order to have blood work done and weighted days and days on end, and it still was not being put into the portal things that matter to a cancer patient doesn't seem to matter to this practice

An assistant gave me a hearing test and Dr Damiano explained the results so a plan to further explore the reason and treatment is ongoing. Parking is usually packed and the only spaces are at the end of the lot and, for new patients, the turn into the lot comes up quickly and is easy to miss and require a U turn (the address sign faces the road so it's not obvious until you are going past)

On the day of the study appointment I had to call them to make sure it was still on, and they had no record of my appointment. Then they canceled my sleep study, saying they had to figure out if my insurance covered it. Three weeks later I still never heard back. It took me 15 minutes on the phone with my insurance company to figure out everything was covered. Also, they wrote my appointment date and time on a piece of loose computer paper. Incompetent!
