The Hearing Rehab Center in Longmont is fantastic! I have worked with Dr. Gilgren for several years now and the professional advise and help she has provided has been awesome! I had previously owned some hearing aids but they were just not working the best for me so I made an appointment with the Hearing Rehab Center in Longmont to see what I could to improve my hearing. Dr. Gilgren took the time to listen to what my experience was and then made the recommendation to change to a different type of hearing aid that she felt would work better for me. It made a huge difference! I can hear better and they are more comfortable so I don't mind wearing them all the time now! She also took great care in checking the settings for pitch and loudness (she even took me outside so I could hear the traffic noise) so that the settings were the best for me. The office provides exceptional customer service too. It's easy to make appointments and mine have always been right on time. They have ordered supplies and even had them shipped to my home. They also send me newsletters via e-mail with helpful information and give me a call when it's time for a checkup. I would absolutely recommend this office and Dr. Gilgren for anyone who wants top-notch customer care and help! I've been to Hearing Rehab Center several times. Chris Hollabaugh preformed the audiology test to confirm my level of hearing loss and ordered my new hearing aid. When the aid came in, I met Dr. Jamie Gilgren who set the new aid up. I have seen her several times since. Each time she has been very helpful and was happy to communicate what was happening with my hearing aids. She has always been on time and answered all of my questions. Today I had an issue with the length of the wires on both of my hearing aids, only one of which was purchased through the Hearing Rehab office. My doctor and wife told me (spoke loudly) that I needed hearing aids. I went to HRC based on its rating on Yelp. My experience with the staff has been excellent. Dr. Gilgren was thoroughly professional and patient. I now have hearing aids that are fully adjusted, and after eight weeks my corrected hearing is in the normal range. I never had a problem making an appointment at a convenient time, and Dr. Gilgren was always right on time. It is amazing how much more dynamic sounds are now with the aids, and I can not only hear my wife, I now know what she is thinking (kidding). We just started going to Dr. Jamie Gilgren's office to address my 9 year old's hearing loss, and we are genuinely pleased. Dr. Gilgren is highly knowledgable, and answers my questions clearly and without technical jargon. She also talks directly to my daughter about her hearing and how to use her hearing aid, which feels caring and respectful. Realizing substantial hearing loss is an event which changes one's life. I am so glad I have Dr. Gilgren to help me on the journey of learning to hear again! It begins with the receptionist Cathy, who greets you and is very professional. Dr. Jamie is FANTASTIC....she had my problem cured in a matter of a few minutes....I did not buy the hearing aid from her, but one of her associates. I went to several places including Costco and Kaiser Permanente and chose HRC. They are friendly, communicative and good availability for appointments. I like the way Dr. Gilgren explains things and has me actually do everything I need to do at home in the office so I was comfortable with changing batteries etc. I am very happy with my experiences here. read more
