We scheduled a surgery with Foothills Surgery Center, they have nowhere that you can leave reviews (I wonder why!). I was told we needed $400 before the surgery. Yesterday, I received a text stating that I had to come up with $3000 or my kid couldn't have his surgery. I called the surgery center, and they gave me options that I still could not afford. I asked for a monthly payment plan, and they refused. They either needed the $3k in full, $2500 plus additional monthly payments, or $1500 or more in monthly payments. I don't have that kind of cash! Their last option was CareCredit. I am not opening a credit card to pay interest on medical procedures; that is ridiculous. They canceled my surgery and refused to speak to me further. Boulder ENT then called me and told me that the surgery center is "not a charity". I wasn't asking for anything for free, I was asking for a payment plan that fits my budget and doesn't involve interest. The rep I spoke to told me, "Here is a name of a doctor, I have nothing else for you." Beware if you book here because Boulder ENT and Foothills Surgery center only care about money, not the health of patients. I'm pretty sure that them giving me a payment plan that fits my budget wouldn't hurt their pockets. And they do not care that they are hurting my pockets. This isn't about patient health anymore; this is only about money. I thought Doctors take an oath to do no harm!

Ellen was amazing not only did she do a great exam and hearing test she explained everything from top to bottom. I have minor hear lose plus tinnitus. She let me try a hearing aid in office to show me the differences with the settings to help "hide" the ringing. We discussed what my options are for now. No high pressure sales!!!! Although they had been fitted to him, one was not adjusted quite right and it was creating an open sore each time he took it in or out, also making it painful to wear. We tried to take him to the VA here, but they could not do it for several days. I googled Hearing Centers near me, and was so lucky and blessed to find Ellen Ruth Stevens in Broomfield. We called and the sweet receptionist said she would fit us in and to come by right then. Ellen saw my father and worked for probably 30 minutes to make the hearing aid fit. When we tried to pay, they said they were just glad they could help! It meant the world to me to have someone help my dad and relieve the constant pain he was in.
