A Life-Changing Experience with Dr. O'Connor…read more I have been a patient of Dr. O'Connor for many years, but I recently experienced firsthand why his specialization in back pain is so legendary. After a simple move--picking up a pair of pants--my back went out completely. I was in excruciating, incapacitating pain. While sitting offered some relief, the transition to standing was unbearable; it felt like my whole back was lighting up. I reached out to Dr. O'Connor, and he got me in quickly. Using his years of experience and specialized tools, he worked on my back--bending, twisting, and carefully adjusting my spine. After about an hour of his targeted treatment, the pain was simply gone. It was absolutely amazing. This isn't the first time he's saved me, but this lower back incident was the most severe. If you are suffering, you don't need to rely on painkillers or live in misery. Dr. O'Connor has a plan for relief. He is a true blessing, and I cannot recommend him highly enough!

He gave explained everything in detail and really listened to me. I'll just say that my left sinus has felt closed up and just wrong for years. Other doctors would say allergies and just flush it while Dr. O'Connor gave me a way to flush my nose that no other doctor would have done. Along with antibiotics my left sinus cavity hasn't felt this great in years. I feel normal again. He is also treating my high blood pressure, cholesterol and figured out that I have a certain type of anxiety that can be lessened with medication to help with lowering my stress and actually sleep better. I have never had a Doctor like this. Most doctors seem to follow what all the other doctors are doing. Dr. O'Connor actually thinks for himself.

If you're looking for a primary care doctor, who actually listens, responds intelligently, and really cares, you can't find anyone better than this man. He's been my primary care for a number of years now and he is really awesome. He's very intelligent and very capable. He has never made me feel like I'm not important because of my age, weight, gender, or any other reason, as some doctors do. He never generalizes me into a group, but treats me as an individual. This is very important. When I've been hospitalized, he has me return to the practice within seven days for a follow up. He actually reads the discharge summaries and looks for anything that he feels is important for him to follow up on. He's very thorough. If you're disgruntled with everyone you've had up to now this is the person that will make you feel like someone who is heard. We need more doctors like him. I want to add that his Nurse, Catherine, is equally attentive and a pleasure to work with. She always remembers you and is always so pleasant. Sometimes you can get a great doctor and they have a not so nice staff. That is not the case here!

He answered all my questions. I had the full 15 minutes that was scheduled. (This was a routine visit). (In addition, his assistant/nurse did an excellent job teaching me how to prepare for the remote visit explaining all the technical issues that were required for a successful visist. Well done ! john

I should have known to walk away after the first visit. Dr. Tarasenko is avoidant and appears uncomfortable with a transparent conversation about the procedures he will perform on patients. He is very vague when answering questions, and during my visit, he actually rolled his eyes when I informed him of the side effects I experienced from the injections during my first visit--side effects he would have known about if his office had followed protocol and had me wait 30 minutes before allowing me to leave and drive--I am traumatized. The girls at the front desk are highly unprofessional. There is still holiday (Christmas) decor in the office (it is April), and the office has an overall uncomfortable feeling. I asked my primary care physician to please refer me to a different doctor because anytime a doctor appears uncomfortable and avoidant with answering basic questions about a medical procedure that will affect your body, that is a serious red flag. This establishment should be examined.

Today on the day of my first appointment she took my ID and insurance card and copied it, then she asked if she can take my picture, I told her you have my ID my Insurance information, my DOB, my address and my phone number, Why do you need my picture, I think she said it's required, then I was directed to the exam room, it was hot and stuffy, with no ventilation, then the woman with the tattoos came in and started questioning me, she if I have high BP and I said not that I know off, she said you are taking high BP medications, then she asked if I had a heart attack, to which I replied yes, and she said why did you have a heart attack? I told her that was 25 years ago and I don't know why I had a heart attack, I told her that I have already filled out a 13 page questionnaire and most of the questions are not relevant and very intrusive, like your race and sexual activities, and drug and alcohol use, at this point she got up and left the room. About 10 minutes later the Doctor came and asked me why I was there today, I told him I was there because of my chronic hip pain and lower back pain and he said he can help me with my back pain but he is not going to, because I wasn't nice to the woman.
