After 6 months of being guided by William, new full black hair started filling up were there was missing hair, I really couldn't believe it. I have seen a number of different doctors in the past for a period of 6 years, from nutritionist, dermatologist, western medicine, M.D., integrative medicine doctors, holistic doctors, naturopathic doctors, etc... you name it I've seen them without any results. William on the other hand was able to recognize the issue right from the first time we talked on the phone. William knew what was the root cause of my missing hair parts, just by looking at a picture!! Without looking into or asking me tons of questions other doctors ask you, or the endless paperwork sheets other doctors have you fill out, William bypasses all of that because he is so good at what he does, he just tells you from looking at a picture. I have spent so much money in the past on initial consultations from other doctors starting from $250 just to see your medical history, plus check ins of $150, plus treatments totaling a good $1,000 all without any results. William on the other hand took the time to read my emails, my concerns and didn't charge an initial consultation, he simply told me what was wrong, what blood work to get and then told me what protocol to follow and the rest was magic. William is a very honest person, he made me feel like I was family and had my best interest, he wasn't looking to make a quick buck like other doctors. I'm really grateful for what William was able to do for me and there needs to be more honest and caring individuals like him in this world. William is the real deal and what no other doctor was able to achieve with me, William was able to. I highly recommend William to anyone, he is nice, caring, very knowledgeable, and honest!!! I first learned about Scalp Micropigmentation just over five years ago. At the time I wasn't so sure this was something I was ready for. There were a LOT of bad jobs out there and after having to wear a hat (every day for the last 20+ years) I wasn't convinced I'd find an SMP artist that would give me the look that I was after. I found Daniel at Scalp Mora Pigmentation on Instagram and LOVED the look he had given every one of his clients. We scheduled a consultation and jumped right in that first day. After just the first session, the results were astounding. Soft natural hairline and a fullness at the top of my head I only vaguely remember. Sessions two and three only added to my confidence and put a smile on my face that I still can't fully believe. I did have a concern about the pain that would be involved, but after getting started, realized that it was absolutely nothing to worry about. I really didn't even notice it. However, when I called again on another occasion to try to make a new appointment, I was told that she actually does provide that service. Today, I called again specifically requesting Tara, and once again I was told that she does not do gel manicures and that if I wanted that service, I would need to book with someone else. I completely understand if the nail technician I want is unavailable at the time or on the day I'm requesting. That is not the issue. The problem is receiving conflicting information and feeling like my request for a specific technician is repeatedly being disregarded. This has happened before as well. I once requested a pedicure with Tara and was booked with someone else instead. The receptionist has also been rude, confused appointment times, and then blamed the clients for the confusion. It's extremely frustrating because when you find a nail technician whose work you love, you naturally want to continue booking with that person. Instead of simply being honest about Tara's availability, I have repeatedly been given inconsistent information or booked with someone else. Tara is wonderful and does excellent work. My review is not a reflection of her service at all. Unfortunately, the way appointments are handled at the front desk has made me no longer want to return to this salon

Ask to have it adjusted if you are uncomfortable. Oils were supposed to be infused with eucalyptus, but I didn't smell anything. So there wasn't an aromatherapy aspect, which was disappointing. I'm on the fence about coming back.

The salon interior is also clean and tidy. The gel mani was done by Tory. She is so detailed. I can tell she has very high standards for her work and is very skilled. She was precise and I noticed that she paid extra attention to cleaning up the gel with a brush to make sure it didn't get on my skin. Her attention to detail can be rare to find at other salons. I don't have pictures of my pedicure but it was okay - I didn't love how my nails were shaped but it was fine and the polish stayed on for a long time which was great. The pedicure was good overall. This was definitely the best nail salon I've tried in north county and I will have to come back another time.

First, my master spent half an hour consulting three other masters on the color. The color ended up, while nice, not at all as requested. "I can deal with that", I thought. "I'm just experimenting". Then the cut: I wanted a bob, all same length, but for some reason it ended up shorter in front and longer in the back. I didn't realize it then because of the way the hair was styled, but it is an inch longer in the back and looks unkempt. Finally, when I inquired about the price ahead of time, I was told "$165 for cut and color". When it was time to pay, I was asked for $235. I showed the email with the price, but was told (in a condescending tone) it is for touch-up, and we did full color. Since when does "cut and color" mean "touch-up"? After I showed the email, my price was lowered to $200 and I was supposed to feel grateful. Not a good experience this time, but because of my first experience I gave it an extra star.
