Giving 5 stars is not enough to rate Shelley. I wish Google will let me give her more stars instead. In 2016 I had FUE hair transplant. They took around 4500 hair follicles from the back of my head (the donor area) and implanted them at the front of my head. I was never aware that the hair was harvested will never grow back in the donor area. At first, I did not have any issues, and I was happy with the transplant results. But with time, I started to lose my hair from the front and the crown area of my head. That's when the problem started. It was difficult to get any hair cut without looking funny because any haircut will show a difference in the hair distribution from when they were harvested from my transplant. I thought shaving my head will solve the problem, but it made it worse. My scalp clearly showed the empty hair areas in the donor area which looked ridiculously ugly. At that point, I was depressed and hopeless. No matter what I did, my head will look horrible. Months passed and I was covering my head with a beanie all the time, but my depression got worse when I got hired at a new job and I cannot use the beanie anymore. I felt life was dark and I did not know what to do. I started looking for micropigmentation options. I contacted multiple places and when they saw my head and issues, they told me they will not guarantee that it will blend or look naturally. Until I called Shelley. Shelley was confident that I will be happy with the results and the micropigmentation will blend well with the remaining of my hair and most importantly, it will look natural. So far, I had three sessions with her. I could not be happier with the results. Shelley is professional and helped me gain my self-confidence back. What I loved about her is that she cares and explains every step. She made sure to answer my questions and I was comfortable during the treatment session. As my treatment is still in progress, I will be posting how my hair used to look before the treatment and now. Then I will post a picture of the final results when I am done with the treatment. I have spent a majority of my life with a tight haircut/buzzed head. I started balding in my early 20s (I'm now in my mid 30s). I don't ever write reviews but I really feel like people should know how good Shelley is. I went in for an smp procedure and my biggest fear was coming out looking like someone who doesn't know when to stop having plastic surgery. Shelley is a true artist and it really shows. I've seen unnatural results form others. That was my main concern about doing such a"permanent" process. I did not want it to look like a tattoo on my head. Throughout the scalp micro-pigmentation process she explained how each step would lead to amazing results. The illusion is truly incredible. I look at her work on my head and it is indistinguishable from the natural stubble. Believe me; I look at it in sunlight, fluorescent light, & all other light sources.
