Found our silly specific party ornaments with ease and found a few extra stocking stuffers as well. The space has expanded since I was last here which is so exciting to see. Many small vendors with handmade (distinct IMO from homemade) items. Honey, 3D printed key chains & fidget toys, embroidery earrings, wooden gnomes and so much more. We'll be back.

Went shopping there today and was swindled out of $10 by the woman at the counter! Picked up a…read moresweet vintage sweater that was marked $10, put it up at the counter with some other things (so I could shop hands free) and kept wandering for a bit. After perusing a while longer I went to check out. Was told the total was $31 and some change..... I was so confused and asked how (the real price should have been $21 something) so she goes on to say "oh yeah the sweater is $20, that's $10 and half off and those are so and so and so and so". Well, that's odd - I thought.... But I wanted the sweater so I just paid to get out of there. (Paid cash like an idiot and didn't get a receipt ) Got to my car to check the price tag on the sweater and what do ya know?? She took it every other price tag was still intact on every other item I purchased (as I know some antique stores save the tags for the separate vendors to keep track) so now it's double Hinky!! I'm bummed I didn't go back in and ask to see the tag but what can I do now. Oh well, live and learn. Hang onto your items if you shop here otherwise you're liable to fall prey to the age old switcharoo!

My husband's family is of Swedish descent, so we often visit this store to get gifts. Their plants look really healthy and they have an amazing selection. I had been looking for a scindapsus pictus (often called a satin pothos, but I learned while I was here that it's not actually a pothos). The nurseries I'd been to never had one and so I was pleasantly surprised they had quite a few to pick from! Laura was super helpful and kind! They have a really pretty setup. They sell adorable decor and plant pots as well. As someone who is new to plants, I appreciated Laura's expertise and advice. She answered all my questions thoroughly. I was advised that I could buy soil for my plants from them in the future whenever I need to repot. She gave me a plant card with information on how to care for my plant at checkout. I also joined the plant points program. I live kind of far but will drive out here again to buy another plant, soil, or anything else I may need in the future! They have a good mix of common and more rare plants, and prices are reasonable for the most part. Their $5 Saturday in store and online plant special is always a good deal (the day I went it was a 4" peperomia frost in store and a 4" lipstick plant online). Their new store has more homewares, jewelry, and gifts/trinkets than their previous location, since this one has more space. They had some cute things. Definitely a fun place to browse, and for plant-lovers like myself it's extremely hard to walk out empty-handed.

I ended up with a Swiftie t-shirt for my kiddo because my friend handed it to her and then she would not part with it. The employees were friendly and talkative, and one of them I think was the owner. I liked the store a lot and as I said, it's a great place for souvenirs. I don't live close to Geneva but that's the only reason I wouldn't shop here. If I had known about the place before I went home a few weeks ago, I probably would have visited because I was looking for a place to get some souvenirs for my friends kids, and may keep them in mind for the next visit home for exactly that reason.

Have to go down two sets of steps to get to the door, then back up stairs to the main level... overall I think we climbed up and down six sets of stairs, and we didn't even go to the highest level of the building! And this is using a cane: I think if you had a wheelchair you'd be out of luck, unless there is a hidden elevator somewhere. Their stock really hasn't changed much in a long time, so I guess between that and the fact that I can't get around the shop easily this just isn't the place for me.
