They are cheaper but getting someone to call you back about results is non-existent and getting the correct results is hard as well.

The Shelbyville community is fortunate to have a first class imaging center at the local hospital,…read moreU of L Health Shelbyville Hospital. My doctor's office had made referrals for me to have several x-rays taken at this location in the past. For immediate x-rays the patient can walk in during normal business hours, 9 am - 4:30 pm. My most recent use of the Claudia E. Sanders Imaging Center was for a scheduled Mammogram followed by Bone Density Scan. It was easy to schedule both procedures back to back at a time convenient for me. The Mammogram was performed by Melissa. As usual the appointment started with confirmation of my medical history. Then Melissa performed the Mammogram with the utmost care to make sure it was as comfortable as possible. At the end she advised me the time frame my doctor would have the results plus she informed me I would get a report of the results in the mail. Then she personally walked me over for my Bone Density Scan and Introduced me to Stacey. Melissa gets five stars! Stacey confirmed with me that I had never had a Bone Density Scan done at this location which was true. She explained the procedure and visited throughout the scans. She made sure that I was as comfortable as possible during the different parts of the scan. At the end she wanted to know if I had any questions and told me unlike the Mammogram I would not receive anything in the mail but that my doctor would have the results in approximately two days. She told me that I could view the results after that at U of L My Chart. She gave me a bookmark that contained much of the same information that both she and Melissa had told me. Then she escorted me to the lobby of the hospital and made sure I didn't need assistance getting to my car. Stacey also earns five stars Thanks to all the hospital staff but especially Melissa and Stacey for providing a five star experience! 2023/ #12

I have been going to Women's First for 3-4 years now and I have had nothing but great experiences…read more I usually see Dr. Shannon and she has always been very patient and allowed me to explain all questions and concerns without feeling rushed or judged. Office is clean and I am always able to get in quickly when needed.

Women's First almost killed me…read more I was diagnosed with a life-threatening cornual ectopic pregnancy and told I would lose my pregnancy and need emergency surgery. After receiving that news, I was sent home to wait. As my pain worsened, I went to UofL, only to discover they had little information about my case. I spent 8 hours bleeding and in severe pain before receiving treatment due to the incompetence of Women's First offices and Dr. Margarita Terrassa. Throughout the process, communication was chaotic and poorly coordinated. My husband and I were repeatedly left sitting in waiting areas after learning our pregnancy was not viable, while staff seemed unaware of why we were there. We felt like an annoyance rather than patients experiencing a medical emergency. I had repeatedly disclosed a history of sexual assault in a medical setting, yet received no trauma-informed care and was forced to retell that history multiple times. Most shocking of all, after emergency surgery and pregnancy loss, I received no follow-up call, no check-in, and no effort to schedule post-operative care. It has been 10 days. I called the office to raise concerns, and they have hung up on me three times. Complications happen. A complete lack of coordination, compassion, accountability, and follow-up should not. Women's First is the wrong place to seek care

I moved to Louisville 5 years and I'm embarrassed how long it took me to find a gynecologist here…read more 3 years. Yeah. It's shameful. I was referred to one OBGYN in this office initially. I'm 85% sure her name was Dr. Coleman? Anyways, she was incredibly nice, but also incredibly pregnant. Shortly after my visit she went on maternity leave. I was switched to Dr. Pamela Hill. Dr. Hill is straightforward and honest. She doesn't spend a ton of time trying to make small talk, something I love. She seems very confident and comfortable with everything she does and makes me feel at ease no matter how uncomfortable the procedure. The staff that work here are all amazing as well. I've had some painful procedures the last couple years and a nurse is always happy and willing to hold my hand to help through the pain. They're saints. Something truly insane - I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for my scheduled appointment. Most doctors offices have you waiting a million years, but not here! Check-in is super simple and there is plenty of seating available in the lobby. Parking is sometimes a chore. The parking garage is attached to the building and when I'm lucky enough to park on Level 3, life is good so I can walk straight through and be on the correct floor. If you're looking for a new OBGYN, give this practice a call!!

I would highly recommend this place to any soon to be parents…read more I've been making the rounds with the doctors here. I was not happy at first about having to see so many- how was I supposed to build a relationship with the doctor that might be there for my labor and delivery?? But, I've been impressed with each one. They know their stuff and have been especially careful to answer my husband's questions and concerns as well as mine. They really will take the time to take care of you here. I've never felt rushed through an appointment. It's been really nice that the same quality of care is maintained no matter which doctor you are seeing at the time. The location is incredibly convenient- especially if Norton Women's and Children's Hospital is where you plan on giving birth! So far I have no complaints and I've been very satisfied with the care I've received!
