I took my dog in for shots and asked them to clip his nails while I was there. They took my dog away from me and into a back room where they cut every single nail until it bled and then came back and scolded me for not properly socializing my dog because he cried and tried to get away from them. They still charged me for the nail trim even though my dog was bleeding and traumatized. And I've heard similar stories since, that they provoke the animals to bite so they can charge the extra fee for "violent animals." Gentle Doctor Animal Hospital is anything but gentle. We have a 7 year-old Shepherd mix and a 13 year old schnauzer. I really worry about the older one, but he's healthy and happy when we pick them up. We board them together in the same room, the VIP suite, so stress is minimized. The staff is really nice and helpful. They are very accommodating when I call to book their stays. The place itself is clean and organized.
