DO NOT BUY FROM SHANNON. Completely unorganized and can't produce papers backing the pup she was selling. I was just about to board a flight to pick up pup for XMAS. She didn't have a crate, veterinary papers needed to take pup. All just highly unprofessional. Look elsewhere. read more

I would strongly suggest avoiding this puppy mill. We reserved our pup in October. The pup was to be born in November. I explained to Shannon that we were leaving for an 8 day vacation in January and could not get him till Jan 20th. She acknowledged that would be OK if we paid an extra $150 for next round of shots. We agreed. After the pup was born ( two pup litter) she sent a couple of pictures and made comments that seemed out of place. One described how someone offered to pay her double for our " Jake" and then another was If you want to trade She would just keep him herself to breed. He's a very handsome, white, large pup. Of course we were not interested in giving our pup away. Last week we left for our vacation to Hawaii. Shannon sent me a text demanding a cashiers check be overnighted. Of course our Houston Bank didn't have a branch there. We offered to wire transfer funds. She said she didn't trust banks. ( really ) Then she suggested Moneygram. We found a location in Laihaina and sent it for the final $1300. Later the Moneygram folks contacted me and said they were not a consumer product company and would not allow the transaction to go through. I told Shannon and suggested Western Union. She agreed and asked me where I'd send. The next day when I got up Shannon had sent a text telling me she had changed her mind. She would not sell us "Jake". My wife and I had flown to Ohio to see him at 5 weeks old. I had posted every new pic ( 3 ) that we had received. Shannon Randolph and hubby broke our hearts, gave us sleepless nights and ruined the last three days of our vacation. Why ? Probably GREED!!!! I have every text message we exchanged outlining all of our arrangements. She clearly violated our contract. I'd suggest you really dot your i's and cross your t's and go look at their operation and visit " The Barn" Oh by the way, my deposit $500, out of pocket expenses to go visit who I thought was my new pup $1200 dealing with a dishonest breeder, sleepless nights, broken heart ( priceless) although we will soon put a price on it. Buyer beware! DONT BUY A DOG FROM THIS BREEDER!!! We purchase two dogs from her at $1200 each. The male was diagnosed with double elbow dysplasia before he was a year old. He had two sets of elbow surgeries totaling $10,000. My female had now also been diagnosed with elbow dysplasia in at least one elbow at 3.5 years old. The dogs are not siblings but have similar bloodlines. I love my dogs but this is heartbreak and great financial stress to face this with both dogs. Of course the "health guarantee" does NOTHING to protect you from this devastating news. Please learn from our bad experience and get your puppy somewhere else. read more

I bought my girl from them 6 years ago. I found them to be honest and I could not be more please with the quality of the dog I received. My girl is the gentlest and friendliest dog you could meet. A classic healthy English Labrador. It is a shame that someone else had such a bad experience, but the quality dog I received speaks volumes for their operation. I did find Shannon to be a somewhat demanding, but she is dealing with the public and I am sure she has met all kinds. I bought a female white English style lab puppy (her mother was Anna) from Shannon two years ago. She arranged for the puppy to be shipped to me because I live quite a distance away in Northwest Arkansas. The puppy arrived and was just as described and perfectly healthy. Honey Bun has grown into a beautiful dog with the best personality, extremely calm and sweet, and very loving. She and my male white lab, Sugar, are best friends. I paid extra for breeding rights, and Honey Bun just had her first litter of eight perfect little white English style lab puppies. They were born in my home and will be raised in my home. Honey Bun is an attentive mother. I found Shannon to be honest, direct, and easy to deal with. I would have no hesitation about buying another puppy from her. read more

One thing that I forgot to mention in my review of Shannon's puppies... The one we bought loves attention but never tried to jump up into my face .. he would sit patiently at my side and wait ...
