By time I got home from work to call back they were closed. We had to take my dog to the care center in Kettering and she ended up dying. I wonder if she could have been saved or in less pain had they followed up. During Covid , 3 years ago, when my other dog was hit by a car we went there because they were close and our Vet. We thought they could stabilize her. They refused to unlock doors talked to us thru glass said they can't help, no appointment. We made a long trip to Kettering Care Center and my dog ended up dying. This place doesn't seem to care about customers. I will not use them again and would not recommend them to anyone. Go to Dr Beall at Springboro Vet instead.

Elissa worked with us 4-5 times, but mostly she gave me the understanding, skills and followup exercises to work with my dog myself. He use to pull us on his walks, run away once the front door opened and absolutely NO CONCEPT of recall. And I also have a 6 year old long haired chihuahua puppy mill survivor who does not like to be touched by humans and she needed a grooming very badly. We had a miscommunication issue on the appointment time and they went out of their way to get her groomed that same day so that I did not have to traumatize the dog further than she already was being in a crate. I was so happy to get her cleaned up and am glad that I brought her to Train Your Pup. I would highly recommend TYP and if I did not have an earth dog would love to try Splash Your Pup too!

Dr Hiegel didn't offer any real knowledge, for even the most basic questions. I asked her about dog food and she said she doesn't know what kinds are out there. She barely touched my dog and didn't seem to want to spend the time on the exam. I saw what seemed to be a daycare dog standing out in the rain the whole time I was there (it didn't look like it was enjoying it). The entryway is crowded and the front area staff never seem very interested in helping anyone. Everyone is nice, I just think this vet is very overpriced for mediocre care and lack of true engagement from the staff.

The thing I love about this business is they don't try to do a bunch of things to drive up costs. For example when my one dog couldn't walk instead of trying to do xrays, etc they put her on a steroid and pain pill to see if that helped first. It did! A very similar situation happened with my French Bulldog recently. They are very good about trying to see if other options work first before doing things that will cost an arm and a leg. I can't recommend them enough!
