The restaurant is in a strip mall anchored by a Superstore and fairly new. It's great to see amenities popping up around that area. Parking was plentiful. Walking inside brought you back to the past with a diner type vibe. You line up to order and then sit down and they bring the food to you. You have option of pre-set burgers or build your own with what toppings and sauces you like. They also have combos where you can add a side and drink. My wife decided to get a single build your own cheeseburger so she could customize it. The kids ordered the Classic combo (one with onion rings and vanilla milkshake and the other with fries and Orange Fanta to share). I decided on the haddock. Food was so good. Fries were crisp and moist inside. Onion rings were crunchy. The family thoroughly enjoyed the burgers. The haddock was great but could use a bigger patty (the bun was bigger than the patty). Place is open and reminds of a diner. My son and I even watched them flip the burgers which was cool. A few tables to sit down and eat. Staff were friendly. We saw quite a few pick-up orders. It's a nice little corner restaurant with lots of seating on patio and also inside. One thing that struck us is the place is super clean and we liked that the restaurant had sustainability practices in place. For example, there is no garbage - only recycling and compost. All their cups and burger boxes are all compostable. They also provided a water dispenser to fill up your water bottles or compostable cup (provided). I even saw outside they had little bowls so even your furry friends can have water. This restaurant, you order at the counter, they give you a buzzer and when food is ready you pick it up. We had 3 Double Empire burgers with cheese, 1 Empire burger with cheese, and order of fries to share, and a chocolate milk share. Also, took advantage of complimentary water and I dispensed waters for the table. Everything was really fresh and tasted great. Burgers had great flavour and didn't fall apart. The fries were nice and crispy with warm soft center. The milkshake was great and not super sweet albeit a bit small. It's going to be an hour and a half." That made zero sense. I pointed out that the place was basically empty, and he doubled down saying they had too many online orders. That just felt like a lazy excuse to not deal with us. When his coworker looked like he was definitely about to take my order. It's frustrating because the rest of the staff has always been great, but this one person consistently treats customers poorly and doesn't seem interested in doing his job. At this point, I'm done. I won't be coming back or spending another dollar here unless something changes. A good business shouldn't let one employee drag down the entire experience like this. We ordered 2 OG Cheeseburgers, Bacon Double Cheeseburger, High Priest, 2 fries, and a strawberry milkshake. Everything was good. I thought the High Priest could have used more secret sauce. Fries were great. Family ate everything up. While the food was good I'm not sure if we'd be back as it's quite far from where we are and there are lots of burger places in between.
