They don't let you know the rules right away. You are just supposed to guess at it. Don't get me…read morewrong, most of the staff is pretty good but there is one that is mean, rude and unhelpful. So far, of the residents I talked to, none of them like her. I guess they are afraid of her. Bad enough having to live in a place like this but then to be treated this way....

If I could give this place zero stars I would. let's talk…read moreabout the owner Patricia Manley for a bit. Patty spent a good 2.5 years trying to get me to come work for her. Usually when she hit me up I was working elsewhere and making good money. Finally I came to a point in my life where I was tired of full on facilities and missed the homey feeling of group home types. I was hired on immediately. Most of the residents were pretty cool and the work wasn't overly hard. What I wasn't expecting on my 1st day (with no training) was to be asked to stay almost a full extra shift after mine. Someone didn't show up, didn't call etc. I told patty that I needed to check on my dog. I made the necessary arrangements and stayed. At about midnight the person who was supposed to be there showed up at midnight. She was not dressed in proper attire and was high on something other than some weed. It was left up to me to send her home.....cool I took care of it because patty was tired and she was my "friend" fast forward to payday....I get my check and it's about 100.00 less than it should be. Turns out my very 1st day of work she paid me "orientation pay" for that entire 14 hours I stayed.....I was not happy and I made it clear. Also my name was spelled wrong on my check so I couldn't even cash it. Getting her to fix that was like pulling teeth. A few days later I go into work as scheduled and I walked into an entire shit show. Food wasn't prepped, someone was moving out, she's yelling at said person moving and I'm expected to do everything that should have been done, plus pass meds, plus cook dinner, plus help the resident move/pack I also had to do all of the toileting, set the table and serve dinner BY MYSELF.....I made it happen. Got everything done and clocked out on time. All my charting was done too. I go to the bathroom after I clock out and when I'm done I snap a pic of myself because for once I feel pretty. It's in the bathroom there's no residents, I'm clocked off and we are allowed to have our phones on us. I post it on Facebook at midnight. 2 HOURS after my shift is done. The next morning I wake up and see that Patty has commented on my picture. She says "no more taking pictures, then lol"underneath it. I figured she was joking so I responded with pffftttttt ‍no big deal. Nope I was wrong she was very salty. I informed her I was not on the clock and it shouldn't be an issue. She had no issues with anyone else doing it but when I did it there was an issue. So the next day I'm with Nora Otto and we are at the VA for my appointment. Our co-worker Kendra is messaging Nora asking if she would stay if I "hypothetically got fired" fast forward to the next day she fires me via text. Friday....was supposed to be payday and I have yet to be paid.....what a fun journey. Feel free to share this post. I don't want others to go through what I've gone through.

*THE COMPANY ASKS ITS EMPLOYEES TO MAKE FAKE YELP REVIEWS BEWARE*…read more The absolute worst place to bring your family. Would not recommend. (former memory care employee, also have worked a few assisted living homes) Caregivers : LAZY , do not assist residents for 30+ minutes at times, they sleep on the job, smoke weed at work, abuse and neglect the residents. They don't pay attention to who needs to use walkers / wheelchairs and just leave the residents alone for most of the day. They don't do any hygiene for the resident ( brushing teeth , deodorant, showers ) and leave their toilets nasty to just sit. Staff : Most if not all of the staff at aspire are just there for the paycheck, I couldn't name one person who genuinely enjoys / enjoyed working there. They don't care about LIVING HUMANS, your family member will just sit in their room to rot. Everyone is more worried about getting their paycheck then they are taking care of the people who pay 8k+ to live there. All in all, Aspire has been my worst job i've ever had. Unsanitary, Unsafe, and certainly unfriendly. They lie about referral bonus' for the employees, you can't request off, you're just straight up treated less than human. Do not bring your family here, don't pay the thousands upon thousands for them to sit in a room and rot, to not be taken care of, to be treated horribly. Please find somewhere else.

I could give them 0 stars if I could. Former employee of Memory Care. I have a whole book of a…read morereview but there's too many characters for me to post anywhere online. So please email me or message me for further detail before deciding to put your family member in this horrible facility. Also if you intend to work there just don't they will manipulate and try to trap you by charging you for their Orientation if you don't stay for a year. They will take about $100-$200 out of ur last paycheck. And if you don't return your key fob they will also charge you $50. Management= Horrible sit in their office and bark orders at caregivers that already have so much to do with over 100 residents. Communication= Horrible Facility= beautiful place but not enough to let your family member sit in their rooms all day or be pressured or forced into doing activities. Also not very clean community areas. Memory care= Your loved ones will not be supervised the way they are suppose to. Your family members items will be lost or stolen And they will talk to them like babies. Your memory care family member will not get better at this facility they will get worse. The residents are way too amazing to be treated they way they are at this facility.

If I could give this place a negative score I definitely would. Residents crying in their rooms,…read moreone resident was crying in her doorway and nobody came. I went and informed someone at he front desk and they went to check on her. She's in a wheel chair and it turns out her belt was so tight it was cutting into her belly. The neglect of my father when he was there for 2 days caused such a rapid decline that he ended up rushed by ambulance back to hospital. He was supposed to be on oxygen and when a PA came in to check on him the 3 rd morning his oxygen was off and he was being given room air! The PA asked WHO PUT HIM ON ROOM AIR AND WHY?! We nearly lost our dad due to complete negligence. NEVER EVER take someone you love to this horrible facility!!!

I was very disappointed when I found out that they had known my husband had gone from 130lbs to 123…read morein one week, he was also very lethargic and no one from the facility notified me. The next week his weight dropped down to 115lbs and you could see his bones in his back, chest, arms and legs. I was also told that he quit eating, was not taking his meds and was not responding to questions. Unfortunately even though he had been so sick for the last 2 weeks in January the staff never asked the doctor to see my husband or thought to have him sent to the ER. Fortunately by the time I found out he was sick I was able to request the doctor see my husband asap, they then ran blood work and everything turned out pretty normal. I am also his POA so I requested the dr see him again due to his symptoms and the only thing the the PA could determine was he was very dehydrated, so they put him on fluids and we tried that for a two days. I finally decided since he was not getting any better he need to go to the ER. The hospital ER did a series of test including a chest X-ray, which showed up positive for pneumonia. The doctor told me how sick he was when he came into the cER. He could possibly recover, but probably not returned to his base line, we might need to get hospice involved or since he is so sick he may die. The nursing home does not admit any responsibility in this. While they do have a few good RN's and CNA's the management does not take any accountability. If you have a loved one you may want to seriously consider places like Rennes or St Paul's.
