I went to American Medical in Fountain Hills, they were wonderful, sold me a pair called Signia, the Audiologist was able to adjust to my hearing needs. They do not screech or scream in my hears. I can actually hear a conversation. I had been led on for far to long by Platinum Hearing! It is so nice to have my hearing aids close to being adjusted as it takes awhile for my brain to adjust to the hearing aids. I think I have finally found an Audiologist at American Medical that knows his business......

I was having problems with one of my ears and I suspected it was related to wax buildup. I had never had anything like this happen before and was nervous and embarrassed going in for a check. I received excellent care from Dr. Seidl who instantly put me at ease, identified the problem and took care of it within a few minutes. I'm sure it was just another day for her but the ease and comfort of the procedure (even getting to see the inside of my ear up close) meant a lot to me. I hope I never have to visit again, but for any future ear related issues I know where to go.

I got the free test & then had to give them $515 deposit for the 30 day Free trial period. After trying the hearing aids they were not any better than my current aids, so I asked for the return of my Deposit, they REFUSED SAYING that an Agreement I had signed prior, said there was a "fitting fee" that I had to pay. I did not keep a copy of the agreement so if it was there I don't remember seeing it. So much for the FREE 30 day trial. Most seniors need every penny they have. ( I'm 78). My daughter was going to pay for the hearing aids. I encourage anyone considering this place to ask detailed questions, especially about fees. In any event I think $515 for "fitting fees" is very very EXCESSIVE !!!!!! SO MUCH FOR 30 FREE TRIAL PERIOD !!!!!
