so I have a furnace that just cold air. I called the number on the furnace company came said I need a new motherboard care of that for me cost of $1000 plus $100 service call. Well, I didn't have that kind of money at the time so I found one online for $230 and installed it myself just to be back at Ground Zero where I started from still blowing cold air same code reading on motherboard had a friend of a friend come out he couldn't figure it out so after trying a couple other things, I finally called the heat guy and so glad i did !!!! Drew the technician came out for $150 service call listen to what I've already gone through and had done and he knew things just weren't adding up .Well he found the bad limit switch that the other two technicians could not and had my heat back on that day he also took the motherboard that I was told was bad and re installed it and wouldn't you know there was nothing wrong with it. The first technician was me over $1000 for something that wasn't broken. And didn't charge me anything extra other than the $150 service charge. These guys are awesome. This is a great company. They are experts at HVAC from my experience and provide EXCELLENT customer service. Highly trustworthy! On time, honest, polite, personable, good guys. My furnace stopped working and I called Heat Guys. They came out within a couple of days and diagnosed the problem, ordered the part which came in quickly and they were right back and now I am sitting in my 114 year old house, warm as toast!!! The two men, Andrew and Ryan, were very professional, courteous and highly skilled. They let me know what was happening at every step and when they would be arriving and what they found. I had them come out and charge my system. The person that did the charging seemed knowledgeable and did an ok job. I then recommended them to my neighbor who wanted an air conditioner installed in her furnace. They come out last Sept and put in the air conditioner. The layout was not as professional as it could have been. The air conditioning unit placement was not worked out with the electrician that they had, who put in the switch box so the line set sticks out more than it should, making it visually unattractive and in the way more than it should. They also decided that to use a remote thermostat instead of a wired one, but they did not have a remote thermostat. She wanted a wired one. The thermostat has not been put in and it is now April of the next year, 7 months later. The air conditioner does not work without the new thermostat. I sent pictures of the installation and called to see if they would put in a wired thermostat and the receptionist at first stated that it was a standard install and that only a remote thermostat would work. When I told her that I have put in a few systems and that a wired thermostat would work, she stated that she did not really know much about it. She was very rude, and it seems like they have a company policy that the customer is always wrong. The system needs a thermostat for the air conditioner to work. The old thermostat was just for heat. They would need to run a new wire up the wall to install a wired thermostat. This would be more work than a remote with batteries. They did not have a remote thermostat for it 7 months ago but did not put in a wired one that we wanted. I would not use these people again. read more

Heat guy came out to give me a quote. Dustin showed up and was completely professional and honest. We were told by others that I would need to redo the ductwork. He showed me that that wasn't the case at all. He gave me some true heavy duty duct tape and explained how I can fix the problem myself!! Saves me a ton of money!! Never open after 3:30 even though the door says open until 4:30. There is always a car out front but no one answers the door. Can't get anyone on the phone after 3:30 either. I went in around 1ish one day recently and the door was unlocked but no one was inside. I have been trying buy filters for at least a month. If I could buy them elsewhere I would but unfortunately that isn't a possibility for whatever reason. I can never get a straight answer as to why I can't order them from someone else. read more

Absolutely horrible business. This company installed our furnace and air conditioner in our home that was built two years ago. Had issues with our thermostat and simply called them to ask a question and was told that we could not get a call back it would require a service call to have them answer any questions. When speaking to the gal that answered the phone and explaining that not sure that we actually need a service call just simply wanted to ask a question first to validate before having to spend that kind of money out of pocket she still would not take Take information for a callback. This was on a Monday and we were told that the soonest that we would be able to get any answers is by having a service call scheduled for Thursday. Given how rude she was because she wasn't even kind about it, we opted to look for other companies and other reviews. We were lucky enough to find comfort air he was nice enough to give us a call back and answer our questions within a matter of an hour and was able to actually even schedule the service call that we needed the very next day. On top of it there are prices for a service call and installation of a nest thermostat that we opted to go with was half the price of the heatguy. All I can say is that the receptionist gal at the heatguy and the way she handles calls inquiries and their business in general is absolutely horrible. If they plan to stay in business they should strongly consider replacing her and looking at how they handle phone inquiries as that's usually where folks get there first impression.
