Keenan got here at the front end of the 4-hour time window for which I was grateful. We suspected there was a clog in the line from the upstairs toilet but Keenan checked the other toilets and sinks to ensure that that was the only issue, then got his equipment and got to work. I had a French drain jetted and two dry wells installed to deal with rainwater. The drain tech Devin was polite and professional and completed the jetting quickly. His scope revealed that my old dry well had dislodged supply line and arranged an appointment with Kevin. After going over my options, I chose to replace the dry wells in both my front and back yard. Kevin pointed out doing the two wells on the same job is more efficient and less expensive than doing two separate jobs. I was thrilled that got the job done on the very next two days by installers Jose and Caesar. Those two were also polite and respectful of the property. They showed up on time and cleaned up afterward. And finally the office manager Brittany was great to work with with. Always cheerful and a good communicator. Quality work done quickly and professionally. What more can a consumer ask? Highly recommended. read more

July 18, 2024 update: I was genuinely surprised this morning when a tech from Apollo called and said they wanted to come back out and take a second look at the AC unit (it's 27 years old). The tech came out and replaced a part, and now the old grampa is up and running again. I'm happy about that for sure and feel like it took my writing an epic bad review to get that kind of service -- which still kind of sucks. I'll upgrade my review from 1-star, to 3-stars. $297 repair is still better than $7,000 replacement. We'll see how long the old AC holds up... very likely it will still need to be replaced eventually. July 17, 2024 update: In regard to the owner's response below: Everything they said is true. However, the "Friends & Family" service is a little more than a fancy word sham in the context of this: I need a $7,000 repair. You charge me between $7,772 and 7,857 but then "discount it 10%" as a Friend putting the price at the market rate of about $7,000. So that's pretty scammy. The $1,065.65 charge from last month for "the part" was for 1-3 lbs. of "liquid gold": discontinued R-22 refrigerant, which I could go buy right now for $37/lb. So, yeah, again I feel ripped off on both ends of this deal. Couple that with the back and forth on the phone, via email, and even trying to get an estimator (not a tech), out here was like pulling #$!^ teeth. The Service Contract has very little value to me now and ended up leaving me feeling like a fool for having fallen for the pitch. The service response was lackluster and verged on rude. Not a discount at all and I feel ripped off now... Their followup is contextually offensive as well implying I was confused by their failure to fully indicate true pricing. Their inclusion of extra optional fees simply shouldn't be in an estimate. Their phrasing of top quality service is really lip service since they have yet to offer me any service. When I pay for a service, I expect value and am more than willing to pay for it. As it stands, I feel like I paid a thousand dollars to a professional scammer. So, I reiterate... BUYER BEWARE. Original Review: On the surface, these folks put on a very "how can I make your day better" kind of vibe. Once you need a larger repair its back to business as usual. Sure, they are a larger company, and provide lots of services, and do a decent job but I've got a very sour taste in my mouth after a $1,000+ service just over a month ago which didn't fix the problem. We have an older AC unit that now needs replacement. I was hoping for some kindness, compassion, and some sort of accommodation for the fact that I signed up for their "Friends & Family" service contract when I had the repair done in June. Nope. Just regular old "We're competitive in the marketplace" kind of pricing with any consideration whatsoever for my being a "Member" - no priority service at all, no consideration of the fact that I've already paid for the initial fix. I had to call repeatedly to get the right kind of followup estimate, and a bunch of back and forth over a week over email to get a virtual slap in the face. They are very pushy about their "Friends & Family" plan every time they visit. They cite a 10% discount, and priority service. I got none of that, as a matter of fact, I had to ask them to review their quote - reminding them that I've paid a thousand bucks, on the exact unit that needs replacement. They also added a hidden "financing fee" into the estimate (we wouldn't have financed), so all in all there is ZERO BENEFIT to being a member since they said this: "We bid jobs in its entirety. We do not line item bid. The Estimate is for equipment, labor and permits. We are competitive in the market with our prices. The price you received is a fair price for this application to enhance your home." Buyer beware. read more

Apollo came to my house to see why my A/C unit wasn't working right. They couldn't tell me why it wasn't working because they weren't able to test anything electrical. Then they proceeded to charge me $129. Turns out the reason they couldn't diagnose fully is because they don't have the license in WA to test them. This is fraudulent practice! I contacted Apollo to complain, but its been radio silence. I will be contacting BBB. read more

Project was a replacement of an expansion tank for a 50G water heater. The quote the plumber gave me was over $900 !! This is very high. I declined and had to pay $75+tax of "consultation fee". Will not be using Apollo again. P.S. I have now obtained bids from 3 other plumbing companies for replacing an expansion tank with brass fittings - all bids are below $400! This shows you how inflated Apollo's price is. They DO NOT give free estimates; instead you have to pay $75 consultation fee so someone can stop by and give you an inflated price in person. Do not fall for this trap and call a company that can give you a free estimate. read more

We heard a mystery drip sound coming from a wall of our finished basement and had Apollo Plumbing come out to diagnose and fix it since we had worked with them in the past. Someone called to schedule our appointment within a half hour of my sending a message via their website. Nate was friendly and knowledgeable and diagnosed the issue as a drip in the exterior hose bib on the same wall. We were all relieved that the drip was not indoors and causing damage and I'm grateful for this peace of mind. While the service experience was good, the bad taste in my mouth and the "just OK" review are about price. I found out from my spouse after the fact that we were charged nearly $900 to replace the single hose bib -- much, much more than what I had expected based on the scale of the project, the time spent, and the relative costs of the work they've done for us in the past. I appreciated the service experience, but I will think twice before going with Apollo again without getting alternate quotes first. read more

Needed main sewer cleaning as it was completely blocked. Eulisese, Eli and Chad did a great job and also ran a scope thru the pipe (at no additional cost) to check the condition of the main sewer line. The guys worked hard, were professional and really nice to talk to. Will definitely join their maintenance plan when I get paid. read more

I had a bathroom vanity that was clogged in a basement bathroom in my house. My girlfriend's niece lives in our basement and that is her bathroom. Apollo plumbing was offering a clogged drain "special" for $69 (I think that was the price). I called asked about the special, asked a few clarifying questions (like will there be any additional charges, availability, etc). We scheduled for them to come out in a few days. First, they called the morning they were supposed to show and had to reschedule, which I was ok with - however they wanted an open ended schedule for the day. I explained that I needed a more firm schedule as I have someone living in that space. So, Apollo informs me that since it's "rental" the "special" doesn't apply and it will now cost significantly more. I was able to convince them that yes, the niece pays a modest amount in rent, but it's not a "rental". Second, the plumber shows up and of course asks if I have used any clog cleaner, which I had. He immediately goes into a tirade about how bad those are and how they normally charge extra when those are used.....Then, gives me three choices 1.) I can get the "special", with absolutely no guarantee that the drain will stay unclogged. 2.) I can buy their enzymes for another $60 (maybe $80), in addition to them snaking the drain, which come with a two month (I think, can't remember exact timeline) guarantee; or 3.) For about $400 they will jet the line and give a six month guarantee. From start to finish it just felt like they were playing me. read more

The service performed was satisfactory and the plumbers were kind and professional during the repair or 2 broken pipes. I asked for a quote for a complete pipe replacement throughout the house, and the quote was competitive, but inaccurate. It included items that we did not have. 1 bar sink that doesn't exist; 4 lavatory sinks, we have 2; 3 toilets, we have only 2, and a utility sink that again doesn't exist in our home. Yes I showed him where everything was. Nice service for an emergency repair that was really stressful for us, but I don't think we would like to use them for anything else with this level of accuracy on the quote. read more

Apollo replaced my hot water heater and expansion tank, $3100. The next week I replaced the hot water heater in a rental, $1800, same brand, capacity and expansion tank. I got a quote from George Morlan $1910 and repeatedly asked Apollo to double check their quote, which was over $1000 more expensive. I was never able to have them provide me with a detailed accounting of the charge or reasonable explanation of why it was so much more, just the explanation that this is their flat rate pricing; what they charge "day in and day out". Paid for them to snake a slow draining pipe, 6 months later had to call them again to do the same thing. The next week after the 2nd time they snaked the pipe it backed up even more. They had to come out again and jet the pipe and scope it to realize there was a blockage at the city line. The city came out to fix it and then the next day, on Saturday, I had an entire new leak on the pipe the jetted! I called the company to come fix the damage they caused and you cannot get ahold of anyone over the weekend and the best they could do would be to come back on Monday even though I could not use my water AT ALL. I received two other quotes for the entire plumbing and sewer project and then contacted Apollo and was given a much cheaper bid. The highest bid was $7750. The next bid was $6200 and their bid was under $5000. I had them review the two bids I had received to make sure we were talking about the same scope of project and they said they were. They then did half the project and charged me approximately $5000 and then gave me a quote for a second project of another $5000 leading me to believe that the entire project would be under $5000. They are very difficult to get a hold of and schedule you will be disappointed and remember don't always go with the cheapest quote sometimes they are dishonest. read more

These guys are reasonably priced, and book within a reasonable time. Bryan replaced a kitchen faucet that a previous plumber frim a contractor installed and never worked properly. He trouble shooted, fixed it, and was polite. Sort of novel these days it seems. I also used this company to snake out the kitchen drain after the kitchen remodel when we saw the cut out pioe was almost totally occluded. Saved me years of grief i think. One of the contractors said they wouldnt gouge me on price and it's true. Havent noticed any lower quality in work.. just lower price. read more

They were on time an cleared a partial. However in their video they mentioned extra work that should be done after I already had my septic tank inspected and they told me everything is in great working order. I'm trying to close on my house now and the buyer wants me to have extra work done because the employee keeps saying the baffle needs to be replaced. If you're not giving me warranty, then just tell me you completed the work that was asked of you. My downstairs toilet flooded with sewage etc. that covered the bathroom and hallway floors in the middle of the night. After figuring out that it was in a constant state of overflow and I was ill-equipped to handle it, I did a quick search and called Apollo to get someone out to take a look. It was around 4:30 AM or so when I called, they answered quickly and Justice was dispatched to my home at around 5:30. Super professional and informative, he worked with my HOA on a plan to move forward with repairs/clean-up and he even stayed to do as much cleaning as he could on his own.
