Coaches asked what did you do to him he is moving much better. My son also loves to get the leg compressions. He has done the leg compressions a few times but the last time he was having discomfort after about 10 minutes so they took them off and readjusted after about another 5-6 minutes the pain in his foot was getting worse. They decided to stop the because the pain was getting worse. They got him out of the leg boots and noticed his foot was swollen (found out later he was stepped on during a football game 2 days before) They decided to add a spot treatment to his foot along with whole body freeze and now he feels great. Best part about it because he didn't enjoy the boots and it was causing pain they gave him a free spot treatment on the swollen foot. They are wonderful at recommending and helping you decide what would be best for you and your body!

Also, there will be classes off blocking off the entire weight room during my only period of time to work out so I am unable to get the kettlebell weights needed for my exercises due to a class using a PUBLIC room. Lastly, the pickleball afternoon times are so limited and they will randomly have lessons without posting anywhere on the virtual schedule causing people to drive all the way there and they can't use the gym for the already limited pickleball times. I mean you guys have two apps (confusing!) you'd think you could figure out how to post the times online... The good: for what you get with the classes and really nice showers the price is relatively affordable.

Hot yoga classes are geared for all levels of yogis but changing up the instructors/ classes offers a more well balanced yoga practice as each instructor provides a slightly different flow/ experience. There are also more gentle / not heated flows available throughout the week. Signup is easy on their website to reserve your spot in class but more popular classes could fill up! I've found the room is full more often than not. The large space accommodates approximately 40 people and is cleaned between classes. Water and (emergency) pony tail holders are always available, as well as other supplies for purchase (mats, towels, water bottles). Empower also holds different fun contests and events to mix things up and keep it fun in other ways too. The summer contest gives someone a chance to win a trip to their Costa Rican retreat and stickers are given out for class milestones. Walking into the studio i was kindly greeted by the class instructor for the slot i booked, i took my first class today with Maisie J and she was so inviting!! Class begun promptly at 9:30am and was led powerfully through a mix of floor and standing work. To give you some insight on me; I have experience with yoga already and am familiar with the vocabulary/ movements. But I'm definitely still learning and currently out of practice. I found the instructors verbal guidance to be very easy to follow, and the curriculum to be challenging enough to make me sweat, but not so hard that i was completely lost. For me, it was the perfect balance of "know how" and learning. This studio offers a variety of classes to attend and hosts multiple instructors, with drop-in classes, subscriptions, workshops, and more. I found the inside of the studio to be really welcoming and homey. The wood flooring IS padded, making everything flow very comfortably throughout class. Quick note for first timers: Bring your own equipment! I feel that it is fairly common at most commercial places that they provide you with your yoga equipment. This studio does offer equipment rental for an extra charge, however it is encouraged that you bring your own mat/towel. -This is what i prefer to do anyway, so bringing my own equipment is no issue for me. I never know what I'm going to get when I walk in the door there! I've never had any problems at the Scottadale location only Brookfield. I checked in and told them I had to use the restroom. When I returned they told me they needed a urine sample and that their system wouldn't let them give me an IV without a urine sample. Which would mean I would have to sit there for at least another hour and drink water until I could go again! The worst part was they tried to justify their actions of not getting the urine sample from me when I checked in and said they did nothing wrong. I recommend you train your staff better or you will be the next casualty at this location when you have to sell this franchise again! This is the last straw with this location. I will be cancelling my membership and look for a place where the people know what they are doing. The irony of this is that today is membership appreciation day! Not only did you not get a member, you lost one!
