First time for us at this new, within a year, business for Lancaster. Good to see growth like this. The present owner is the founder of Heath Springs Pizza in Heath Springs, SC. He did very well so he expanded into the main street of Lancaster to repeat his pizza operation. It was crowded when we went in at around 7pm. Interesting menu with usual appetizers and salads but with a few new items. The Wedge is basically half of a 9" pizza folded over all sorts of fillings and then cut into three slices or "wedges". Cute idea...different. Wife and I split a small chef salad ($7.99) which was more than enough for two of us. Had Italian dressing and it was a packet of creamy Italian, which was OK. Ordering pizza is either pick from their suggestions, of which there are plenty, or create your own, or...any combination that works for you. They have Chicago pizza, and for those of you that are not familiar, this is a deep dish pie, thick with crust and cheese. It is almost 2 inches high. Crust Types: Hand-tossed, Thin' N Crispy, The Edge, Gluten Free Cauliflower, crustless (!), or create your own. This includes a base pizza, pizza sauce, cheese and your first topping. Each additional topping is charged based on pizza size. Sizes are: 9" Personal $8.99, 12" Medium $10.99, 14" Large $12.99. 16" X-Large $14.99. We ordered a thin crust, crispy crust, medium size Little Italian pie ($14.99). It did not jibe with their pricing, but we were not to quibble about it. It took almost 30 minutes to arrive, but then again, it was crowded. It was OK...not like you would expect. Our specifications with thin and crispy came out appearing like a frozen pizza from the grocery store. But it was flavorful and had a nice mix of the various ingredients. Next time we will go with a hand-tossed. Not fancy, with wood bench booths on both sides and small or large table combos in the center. And you are there with what appear to be very nice Americans, working class, with their children. Every one was having a good time and it was comforting be with a regular folks kinda place. Absolutely incredible pizza. Don't know what they've done specifically but the crust of their pizzas is both crispy and chewy at the same time. The banana peppers on the supreme are also nice and pickled and tangy. Also shoutout the cinnamon dessert pie. Not much more to say, it's great pizza! read more

Must try! Real Chicago style pizza!! They do not skimp on cheese or sauce. The mozzarella cheese they use is very high quality considering the fresh taste. One pie is only $14 which is well worth is considering the taste! The staff is very polite and accommodating. It's in a far out spot in South Carolina, I drove one hour from Sumter. We went to check out Heath Springs Pizzeria since we heard good things. I love the small town feel and servers were very hospitable. It's a smaller place but had enough tables for several families. We Absolutely loved the pizza here! We got a fabulous Chicago style pizza and a hand tossed. At this point in my baking career, I consider myself a full fledged pizza snob! With that said, I will be back! I like all scratch made food vs taking short cuts with boxed crap! This is a scratch made spot that deserves some love because that's what they put into there food. The Chicago style pizza, had some of the best mozzarella/provolone/buffalo cheese mix, I Eva done did taste. This place puts out some very respectable pizza! I'm giving them a two because clearly they don't recognize online orders or make the effort to have the finished product at the time scheduled online. The pizza seemed rushed, watery and when I ordered Chicago deep dish with Italian sausage there were maybe a handful of pieces of sausage. My mother went in at 6:45 when it was supposed to be ready by then but stated it will be another 30 minutes because of a big order. The only big order was the 6 or 7 fat dudes inside the restaurant. Glad they were catered to and not everyone else. Clearly time management is an issue. Expectations from the business as well as the customer should be taken into consideration and if you knew you were running behind communication should have been first and foremost. Tried HSP on a whim with a work buddy. The garlic knots were excellent. Baked crispy rather that fried dough. The garlic butter they came drenched with was excellent too. Delicious pizza in the Midlands of S.C.! While visiting S.C. this week, we visited HSP on a Friday night with friends. It's football season, so we were unable to have the Chicago style pizza unless we waited 1.5 hours, so we decided on the regular thin and crispy crust. Can I say it was absolutely yummy?! We ordered a white ricotta pizza, pepperoni and green pepper, and jalapeño pie, nothing too exotic. The owner stopped by our table and chatted - everyone was friendly and helpful - and offered us a batch of garlic knots on the house. We enjoyed these as well plus hot chicken wings which for my pepper loving friends didn't seem hot at all. The small shop - maybe 10 tables?- was easy to find on Main St in Heath Springs, SC, parking right at the curb so there is no parking lot; a huge red banner from curb to roof waves to announce you've arrived. Our family has eaten here for years and we've always loved it. Not tonight. We ordered two XL pizzas and their keto pizza. I've made keto crust before and it is NOT just melted cheese. They gave me about 12 pieces of ground beef and 12 diced green peppers on the whole thing. The regular pizzas had no flavor at all. It was so off because usually it is great! I messaged them and told them this and even sent this picture and they offered to "make the keto pizza right" on the next visit but nothing more. I replied and let them know that the whole order was basically a bust because it just wasn't good like it normally was, that maybe they had an off night, and I politely asked for a refund. They messaged back and said they could only refund if we brought the whole order back. How would we bring the whole order back if we had to taste it to know it wasn't good? It seriously had zero flavor! They also told me they have "truthfully" no one has ever said their pizza wasn't good. Well, reading these reviews tells me I'm not the only one with this complaint. So, there will be no refund and basically I've been told this is my problem. I really hate this is happening. They refuse to take responsibility for all their flavorless pizza, refuse to refund for something no one really ate, and they've lost a customer. read more
