While waiting for my order, both my friend and I could clearly hear and observe Ashley mocking me from the back area. Right in the doorway as if she didn't try to hide it at all talking to another employee...at one point, she appeared to be imitating someone using a cane. Which is obviously not a coincidence considering as someone who currently uses a cane while recovering from cancer treatment, she was clearly mocking me. Yesterday's experience was deeply hurtful and humiliating. To avoid further embarrassment, or harassment my friend suggested and I chose to sit outside and finish our meal. No apology was offered, nor was there any attempt to address the situation by any of the staff. I genuinely wanted to support this local business, but after this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend it to others. Everyone deserves to be treated with basic kindness and respect, regardless of their dietary choices or physical limitations.
