Went here for a facial and dermaplane - at their Mass Ave location. The demaplane was fine but the facial was so basic and my skin ended up breaking out. I get facials monthly and a hydra facial every 8 weeks. In over 15 years I've never had my face break out. Do not recommend. read more

What a wonderful and relaxing experience I just received at Heather Brown face and body studio. The receptionist, Savannah was professional, personable, friendly and informative. She answered general questions I had about the various services that are offered at this facility. Next, I was greeted by my esthetician Morgan who introduced herself and escorted me to her treatment room. The treatment was warm and inviting as well as clean and bright and the relaxation music was a nice added touch. Morgan was very professional, personable and friendly. She explained each step of my facial process, paid great attention to detail, she kept the environment quiet and spoke in a soft voice. While my mask was working it's magic Morgan massaged my arms and hands which was an added bonus that I wasn't expecting! Upon completion of my facial I was very relaxed and my face looked amazing! Such a cute and GREAT addition to mass ave! We needed a place like this. The space is very cozy and chic, they did a good job decorating. They offer a long list of services. I was greeted right away by the receptionist and waited very little time to get sent back for my appointment. Very disappointed in my experience at the Heather Brown Studio on Mass Ave. I am new to the area and was excited to see a new face and body boutique opening up in the neighborhood. Sadly when I showed up for my facial today (10 minutes early) the receptionist was aloof and unwelcoming. Surprising given it's a brand new location that just opened this week. No warm greeting or welcome. Granted, she told me where the bathrooms were, and told me to sit down to wait. Time clicked on with not another word. My appointment was for 1:00 pm (I booked the appointment two weeks ago; I received a text to confirm the time of appointment; which I responded to confirming). At 1:05 pm no sign of the esthetician or word from the receptionist. At 1:07 pm, I informed the receptionist that I'd not be staying for the appointment given the lateness with no acknowledgement. Too bad that a new spa opening up starts out so poorly with an unprofessional experience for potential clients. I like to support local businesses and women business owners but not when they treat clients unprofessionally and with poor levels of service. They did followup with a text offering a free service, and apologized for the experience (I added a 'star' to my rating for the text message). read more

The location is very convenient to me and for the price I had to try this location. I think if you are new to facials this place is fine. If you are used to a luxury spa this is not the place for you. You get what you pay for. The beds are not heated and don't adjust for your knees or back so it's very uncomfortable laying down that long completely flat. Also the tools are not high end. For example, they used the drugstore cheap razors for my dermaplane. Finally, they don't really adjust for your skin type. My skin is sensitive. She put on a peel which burned more than anything I've experienced and left my face very red. My face is so dry and I went in for a hydrating facial. Also my person did not say one word to me. She talked more to the Alexa to put on pop music instead of relaxing classical. Edit: they did reach out, apologized for my experience and offered a free facial. Hopefully I just got someone new or someone on an off day and my experience isn't typical. read more

I appreciated how easy it was to book an appointment and get right in. I booked an appointment at the end of the workday, and was able to get in the following day at lunchtime. I arrived a few minutes early to my appointment and was walked back to the waiting area (which is within MDG, so could be a little confusing for first-timers like me) and was told that Kelly wasn't in quiet yet. She arrived at 11:03AM for my 11:00AM appointment -- but I was in and out the door by 11:10AM so it was fine by me! She was speedy (obviously!), friendly, and knew what she was doing. There was no sticky-stuff left on my upper lip (as is sometimes the case w/a less than stellar wax job). First-time guests can use a $5 discount, so my lip wax was just $10 (normally $15). I did enter this in the "notes" section of my appointment, but it wasn't taken off so I mentioned it in person before paying and the discount was applied. I work down the street, so this may be my new go-to spot to pop in and out for a quick touch up! For those who would need to drive over, there is plenty of metered street parking just outside of MDG on the road. read more

Kelly is attentive, honest and always worried about my skincare needs. I've referred several people her way and we all have the same opinion. There is no better! I have been going to the Fishers location for awhile, but decided to try the Mass Ave location because of the special being offered. I can say both locations provide amazing service! There is ample parking outside and the studio was so clean. Haley provided AMAZING service and I'm so so happy with all the services I had done. HBF&BS are the only ones I trust with my skin. All the employees are great at what they do and I've never received a bad service. From talking with the estheticians I've seen here, having services performed by her, plus seeing how she interacts with customers on fb, you can tell Heather Brown is great to work for and has a brand you can feel great spending money at. 100/10 would recommend. read more

Recently had an express facial by Kelly and I could not be happier with my experience. She was so attentive and able to answer all my skincare questions. She gave me candid responses allowing me to feel more confident in my skin care routine. Heather is great! I went for a first time eyebrow shape because I wasn't happy with the shape of my brows. In just 20 minutes, she improved my eyebrows in ways I never thought possible. I will be a consistent costumer in the future and can't recommend the great team in Fishers enough. read more

Unfortunately, my subsequent visits have been less than stellar to say the least. For my May appointment I got the area between my eyes and my entire forehead done, with copper peptide, by purchasing the $100 one area treatment with additional cost for the copper peptide. Kelly was very helpful and professional. For my June 21st appointment Kelly showed up late and disinterested at best. Actually much more professionally disrespectful and rude to be blunt. I showed up for the same $100 one area + copper peptide treatment and only received micro needling for the area between my eyes and a few specific lines on my forehead. My July appointment was the same reduced micro needling treatment. Perhaps this is an attempt to "up sell" to customers but that does not explain the bad/unprofessional attitude. read more

When the newly announced location was announced, I had to check it out as I've been a loyal member to working with Heather Brown and the Heather Brown studio since they first opened. I've traveled all over the world and received spa services and this by far has always been the best level of attention to detail, service and team with high level skills that I've came in contact with. Today I visited the new downtown location for the FIRST time and while they are still finishing up details of opening, the space was impeccable. You feel calm and at ease at this location with the clean palate and beautiful plant mural being painted on the wall, it's a super convenient location. I found parking very easy and the team, as always was kind, friendly , listened to my needs and was able to deliver on the experience I am accustomed to receiving. Haley did a great job at my lash lift and tint, deluxe microneedling and eyebrow wax. The receptionist had my other purchases already ready in a bag with beautifully placed tissue paper and I even got to meet Heather's parents who were the absolute best. I drive nearly 4 hours roundtrip once a month because I can't see myself going anywhere else due to the level received at this studio. So grateful for them, the work they do, the quality and the phenomenal prices. Four more appts already booked downtown. read more
