It looks dirty, the beds are old, blinds were broken, the kitchen floor was like a fun-house floor, the ceiling fan in the living room couldn't be shut off, the dining room light was ridiculously dim, the vent in the kitchen ceiling blew cold air directly from the outside the entire time, the neighbors could see directly into the bathroom because those blinds were broken too, and there were roaches. Lots of large roaches. On top of that, one of the bathrooms was so tiny that you could barely sit on the toilet and the shower was a joke. We're not particularly large people, but we couldn't use that bathroom. We arrived Saturday at 4:00, and I emailed Bluewater that night at 7:00 because I was so disappointed in the house. I listed half of those issues because that's all we'd noticed at that point. It got worse as the week went on. We've rented multiple other houses on Ocean Drive and this one was the worst. I received a quick response and someone showed up on Sunday (let themselves in even though we were sitting right there which I thought was incredibly rude) and changed a lightbulb, took pictures, and then I never heard anything again for the rest of our stay. I'm sorry, but at 3K for a week, someone could have come and hung $10 blinds in the bathroom. The entire house looked dirty and dated and was poorly stocked. Stay away from this place. I'll be sharing this review everywhere so no one else has to have this kind of experience.

Very dated, not well maintained, and dingy. There is no pride of ownership in this unit, and no value for the substantial $ you spend. When I stopped to the rental office to request sheets that actually fit the beds, ask that the tv in the upstairs bedroom be fixed and for utinsils to use with the BBQ, the agent seemed very uninterested. Having owned and rented to others a unit on this isle for 18 years, I know how important it is to get repeat renters...you do that by providing a clean, well maintained, updated rental unit. My rental managers always made very specific requests if they inspected and saw deficiencies . I have to question if anyone from Century 21 on Emerald Isle ever set foot in this unit. my business will go elsewhere next year.

My family encountered the following: 1. ROACHES on the Bottom floor 2. Ice maker never worked. Even though we called and a nice maintenance guy came promptly to fix, it stopped working quickly afterwards. 3. MOLD - this is unacceptable!!! And the neighbor had mold too!! 4. Sliders to the ocean that were very hard to open. And stuck. 5. No blinds or drapes. 6. Broken blinds 7. A dehumidifier that we were not given instructions for that we had to empty multiple times per day. 8. No info on trash pick up. 9. Dirty, trash left in place and a dirty qtip left in a bedroom. 10. Old furniture throughout. $15000 a week deserves much better furniture. 11. Weak decking that can be hazardous. 12. Dirty exterior. We are aware of the ocean winds and salt however, the fencing has been rarely cleaned because of all the dirt on the railings and slats. There is more but we are tired from a vacation that didn't happen well and we need to recover from it. We are very disappointed!!!
