They changed their answering service to an outsourced firm in probably another state which is way more horrible and have no clue of the facility, doctors and operation. But the worst came when the doctor moved away to another location, and they arranged me with another provider 3 months from my requested appointment date. Two days prior, got a phone call that the new provider won't be taking new patients. Fine, left 40 Cross st, and went to the original provider who now works in another location miles away. Even worse experience because of timing/medical record-keeping issues. Now I need my medical records as I want to switch doctors. They have what's on file but the knowledge about my issues with the doctor is completely lost. If you can, avoid this place at all costs. Overall I'd give my primary doctor a four star (after seeing him for several years) - he's fine except when there's more than one problem I see him for, he's overwhelmed or annoyed. I'm ok to visit him twice for two different problems - the issue is timing, appointments etc. suck. I'd rather pay him twice in the same visit. Unfortunately, my primary doctor is not accessible to me anymore.

Comments about mean staff or that they have too many patients, etc. are sour grapes as far as I'm concerned. It's a medical facility folks - pop in and pop out. If you're records are that big of a concern - swing by and pick them up...or ask someone to do it for you...You should be judging your care by how you feel - not if you feel like someone is being mean to you...also, it's a two way street - you get what you give and no I don't work for them...just calling it like I see it.

He's young and seems quite intelligent. I'm glad to call him my primary care doctor now. I'm in GOOD hands!!!!!!!!!! And guess what he never said I was morbidly obese. My weight when I got on the scale there was 265 lbs. At one point I was at 289 lbs. So not too bad. They also did bloodwork while I was in the office. I wasn't made to go to a lab to do it....which was another plus. All in all I'd give the doctor: ********** = a 10 star rating . I am completely shocked and disappointed with their unprofessionalism. I have had strong symptoms…read moreof COVID-19 and right now I'm on day 7 of shown symptoms. When it started I had extreme fatigue, which led to heavy post-nasal drip down the throat, no runny nose, no sneezing, just thick postnasal that would make me cough a bit. On day 2 I felt a fullness in neck and throat which evolved into a full and forceful dry cough along with a fever which I took ibuprofen for. Day 3 the cough just worsened and I started to feel shortness of breath, chest tightness, and pain and getting winded going up and downstairs. Day 4 I went to Soundview. I was wheezing, short of breath, coughing, and unable to take a deep breath. Dr diagnosed me as URI even though I had symptoms of lower respiratory difficulties. Dr told me because I didn't have a fever I would not get a test for COVID-19. And told me if I didn't directly contact someone who traveled recently I likely would not have the virus. Meanwhile, the news has reported "community spread" in our area. Yes, I suppose there are limited tests but the Dr was not honest about that fact and simply told me to take cough med, pain med, and inhaler and sent me on my way. No recommendation to avoid social gatherings etc. I did so anyway, I canceled all plans and tried to keep a distance from other parents at school drop-offs and pick-ups throughout the week. I have had other concerns about this practice before this, but this clearly has me looking for a completely different practice. I'm giving two stars because the Dr was very nice and personable. The night after the appointment was the worst night of all. I was sitting on the couch, coughing fit, after coughing fit, and just had the feeling like I could not get any air. That my windpipes in my lungs were completely constricted and not opening, I was seriously needing air. I had taken inhaler but yet was at this level of breathing trouble only a couple of hours later. I went up to the shower and turned on the steam with the hope of it relieving the issue and opening up the airways, which it did for a bit. When I was ready to go to sleep laying down in the bed I still was struggling for air. Any position made me cough like crazy. Any relief I got was sitting up and leaning forward or completely standing up straight. this is no way to fall asleep. I wrestled with the symptoms for a good TWO HOURS until finally, things subsided enough to drift off. But I was woken up many times overnight with the breathing struggle. I have had bronchitis before and this seemed to be on another level. The next day, more coughing fits and a nap interrupted with them yet again. Coughing fits caused intense headaches over the day. I went to sleep day 5 with the same symptoms. Day 6 coughing fits over and over, the same breathing issues. Day 7, symptoms are easing just a little bit but I'm still experiencing shortness of breath and coughing and not being able to breathe in deep. Still winded walking up and down flights and around the house. I still feel like someone should test me properly. I am convinced I have this virus in my body. And I have no clue if I definitely have this virus and if I should avoid going to work this weekend. The two mildest of the symptoms: My voice is different, the whole throat lining is irritated from all the coughing and slightly sore, but it's not a seriously sore throat and doesn't hurt to talk or eat or move. I also only have had a slight fever since the second day and mostly no fever- but the issue is definitely in the lungs - lower area of lungs.

mario pinto is the worst doctor and thats saying something. first of all, internal medicine wont…read morelet you review them or any of their doctors except on yelp. what are they hiding? oh yeah. i saw pinto at least ten times over the years for various ailments and he never diagnosed me correctly once. a good benchmark for your health is to see him and take the exact opposite opinion. he told me i had asthma, when i had acid reflux (the asthma diagnoses went on for yearssss). i saw him 3-4 times for stomach problems after that and he said i was completely fine when i had acid reflux all this time. i saw him for a shoulder problem and it still hurts now 3+ months later even though he said it was nothing. he told me my toenail was bruised and it was athletes foot. he told me to stop drinking so much when i hadnt drank in ten years. wouldnt expect much better from the doctors cult of america....the second biggest and maybe the most powerful cult in america. its time to replace doctors with AI. AI doesnt have crazy egos, bad days, biases, they offer better treatment plans, better insights, better knowledge, better diagnosises. Only things they cant do is currently prescribe meds and be held liable....as if doctors were barely ever held liable for their crimes they commit on a daily basis. I havent been diagnosed correctly by a doctor in 20 years. Theyre ALWAYS wrong. Ive had to become a shaman and heal myself. It has been almost three years since I was there and my regular doctor is not even with the practice anymore...leaving me to take whoever had an opening. The person responsible for making appointments got me in first thing this morning and, by default, I ended up with a young doctor named Mario Pinto. Everyone there, from the folks behind the front desk to Dr. Pinto were great...pleasant, helpful, and thorough. Now that I had such a great experience, the next time I won't wait so long to go!
