Ross and Roman did such amazing work on our wedding floral arrangements and bridal bouquet for our elopement in Big Sur! They came to the rescue when none of the Big Sur area florists I contacted returned my inquiries. We met with Ross and Roman on two occasions to finalize our order and to discuss what we envisioned the floral pieces to look like. We were both very surprised and amazed when we went to pick up the flowers the day before our big day. All the pieces looked gorgeous and exceeded all of our expectations. The flowers stayed fresh and beautiful even after a 6-hour drive from LA to Big Sur. They remained stunning the next day when we got married. Oooof. I hate posting a review like this because I want to support local business, especially during these COVID-19 times but sadly Heathers flowers deserves it. My wife came in looking for a small, simple bouquet. She had pictures and a realistic price point in mind. Sadly the owner and florist at heathers flowers had other ideas an was extremely combative with her for no reason and the store was empty too. He said he could only make a meager bouquet for a minimum of $50 and wouldn't budge. This for common flowers you could purchase at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods for $10-15. Not even a single rose! Now we expect a markup for a dedicated florist and my wife might have even spent $30-40 to get something special but the guy wouldn't do it, said he was "too busy to do it for less." The best he could offer was $50...for 4 or 5 common flowers. Hard pass for her especially with the attitude. To make matters worse, the owner and the florist took no covid precautions at all - for them or their customers - and would not wear masks. They did not have a plexiglas barrier at the register either. Sorry, we tried to support but you shot yourselves in the foot with your sour attitude. Take your business elsewhere - they'll try and gouge you surely. POSTSCRIPT: My wife went to Whole Foods were they made her a bouquet for just $16 that super fresh and nice, including 6 roses. I'm sure Heather's Flowers - if there is even really a Heather anymore - would have tried to charge $75 for the same. read more

It's was my birthday and my Sister sent me a dozen white Roses it was delivered at 12:10 PM and first I took a good look at the arrangement and thought...it could have been done better.It's was over priced $102 I was shocked at the cost and the delivery man had to returned a second time 6:30pm because they forgot the 1 balloon that should have arrived with the Roses. My mother and father sent me a wrist corsage from Heather's Flowers for Easter and I am not kidding, this was the prettiest corsage I have ever had or seen. I am attaching pictures. I hope you can see the lovely orchid. Very comfortable wristband - finally no poking me with pins! In addition, I also had a really lovely mason jar full with flowers, which was put together so nicely. And finally, I would just add that the delivery person was very friendly! I was so surprised at how nice these flowers were I thought I had to tell people. So I told several people and one of them told me to post it on Yelp. Good idea. Have purchased flowers for delivery many times through the traditional or usual chain sources. Usually disappointed (sometimes greatly so) in what was delivered versus what was depicted and ordered. Not so this time. I drive by Heather's Flowers every day on the way home. I decided to give them a shot as they were close by, and the fiancee was working from home that day. The flowers were at least as good if not better than what was shown on the website. I was initially hesitant as the price was up there, and I'd been burned before. But when I got home, I was quite pleasantly surprised not only at the size of the arrangement (quite large!) but also how closely it resembled the arrangement on the website. And then the nice attention to detail of the sea shells in the bottom of the vase which I had not even noticed on the website photo initially, and wasn't mentioned in the description. Flowers were fresh and arrangement was large, beautiful, and as depicted. Nicely trimmed stems arranged nicely, crystal clear water and vase, and the nice touch with the seashells. Gorgeous. I was so excited by the description the gentleman gave me on the phone once he explained that spending 100 rather than 80 would really drive a great impression. The arrangement She received for her birthday was tiny and insignificant. My firm does a great deal of gifting on my side of town and I expected the local shop in Venice near my girlfriends office to facilitate the same level of service. I am so embarrassed by heathers.
