I wanted to like this place so much, and it's a disappointment every time. The ice cream is ok, but the gelato is really icy and lacking creaminess. The portions are the real problem. If you're going to charge $9 for a single scoop in a waffle cone, you better be filling that waffle cone. What you get is a pretty small scoop just plopped on top of the cone. The biggest issue is customer service. Every time I go here, the single person working the counter treats me pulling them away from their phone as some sort of burden. This most recent time, the gal behind the counter started serving the pushy people behind me, treating me like I wasn't there. You can't be this crappy when Scrumptious is right there, and Power Cone is just a few blocks down. read more

I just resigned from my current employer and was running errands in Old Town Arvada. I am dairy-free and miss ice cream so much that I decided to walk into Heaven Creamery to see if they had any dairy-free options. To my amazement, they had quite a few diary-free options. I opted for a coconut milk-based one called Heaven. The flavor is Vanilla & Butterfly Pea Flower, which was delightful and refreshing. It was exactly what I needed to celebrate! Indeed Heavenly and Enticing with a huge assortment; all delightful, if one gets there in time before others this HOT Summer! There are several choices!!! And Locations!!! Nonetheless, Angel told me he worked in Heaven! We laughed as he allowed me to taste the difference between the Vegan & Ice Cream, my favorite will remain Italian Gelato!! What is impressive is: they make their own cones, one may watch them prepare and curl the crispy delights; had a bit of a taste, they are sweet - and should be this is HEAVEN CREAMERY! The choices are plenty "Including!" Popsicles!! Of almost every flavor and these are LARGE popsicles!! Almost enough for 2 people. Heaven Creamery does NOT add tip automatically, which is honorable, it is the customers choice, and given the excellent service and the delicious choices, certainly by Angle who touts working in Heaven (!!) deserves a tip for his smile, patience, and helpful tastings. Another ice cream shop in Olde Town is just what was needed. And Heaven Creamery? Even better! I love that they have so many flavors and options. I've only been to the Cherry Creek location so to have one close to home is even better! Service was a little slow but it wasn't the sweet employees fault at all. She was the only one working and she was trying to get through the line as quickly as she could. And she did it with a smile! She never showed that she was stressed out or anything. So kudos to that sweet employee! I got the taro with coconut milk and it was so delicious! And my husband got the peanut butter cookie ice cream and said it was amazing! We will definitely be back! We live so close and I know we will be back to try more flavors! So excited to have a Heaven Creamery so close! And I can't wait to be back to try the other treats too! read more

Spent $45 dollars on 3 coffees, 2 churro cups, and a single scoop of gelato. Gelato was yummy, we got the mascarpone & mixed berries. The churros were a bit lack luster and the coffees were just frothed milk. For the price, we expected to enjoy it a bit more. The person behind the counter did not seem too thrilled to be serving us.
