A friend of mine told me about this little charm and told me to go since…read moreat my old campground it got quite boring so I looked online and booked a space in silk stocking (as you can see in the pictures below) and when I arrived I noticed that there is no satellite for phones but I like that because it lets me enjoy wildlife without the doomscrolling of social media (you know what apps) and there is just so much things to do. For example, there's a concession stand that has some fire food and there's Wibits on the lake but for the people how don't want to get their hair wet or go underwater in a lake like me, there is also public lake access for swimming to. There is also peddle boats that you peddle on the lake which give you a good view of the lake without having to rent a expensive pontoon boat. They also have kayaks. And they have peddle carts on land for fun travel around the park but it is VERY hard to peddle on the rocks and feels like if you were to put peddles on a bus. The vibe there is also very good and campfire rings are included with each site though they are kinda dirty so I'd recommend rapping tin foil around food before cooking. The bathrooms do have washing machines and there is a vending machine that is like 50 cents I think and it has washing machine stuff. Just so yall know if your bringing your bike just know that most of the park is rock so it may be a bit hard to ride on. Same with dogs, the rocks may be a bit hard on their paws so just walk them in the grass until there's pavement. Also there is a bigfoots big ride every Saturday night which is a tractor hauling this long wagon with benches in it and it is quite fun. The camp store is well stocked and has some camping must haves like wood and such. The creek behind silk stocking is a great spot for fishing just make sure to release the fish afterwards since they are Austin lake's property. Overall though the park is clean and the bathhouses are nice and they added free water for 6 mins but when I pressed the button it didn't turn on it made this like buzzing sound like it was supposed to be dispensing water but it didn't so I just went in the cabin and took a shower. Also tents are allowed as long as it's just one that is the max.

After looking into the park turns out not Christians at all looks to be a way for land owner Jim Wagner to avoid paying tax on oil profits from wells located at park. Also talking to local land owners Jim has been know to bully land owners was fined by epa for destroying wet lands . Also oil traffic ruining roads and dust for nearby land owners is horrible . This place is not where gods word and people belong it's the perfect example of greed and sin . Using the name of the lord to get rich of the fruits of the land he stole . We had my nephew's graduation party at Zion, and even though it rained a good bit, we still had a…read morewonderful time. We were able to enjoy early morning kayaking (before the storms arrived) and had the lake to ourselves. It was beautiful and peaceful. The rain actually enhanced the stay, because the large porch provided a comfortable, dry place to watch the passing storms. And the views are just incredible. The cabins are lovely, and well worth the money. The beds are comfortable, sheets are soft and towels are high quality. The kitchen comes fully stocked with whatever you may need and they even provide lawn chairs so you can sit around the fire ring. There's a dish washer, and washer/dryer. All the comforts and conveniences of home! The only thing I would add is mini blinds or curtains on the bedroom windows, so one may darken their room if they'd like. We love coming here and can't wait to return. When I visit home from Texas, it's the first place I want to come. Zion is Mother Nature at its finest!

They…read morewere courteous to work with via phone, which made planning the night from out-of-state extremely easy. Our driver, Matthew, was absolutely fantastic and took great care of us. I left a restaurant gift card in the limo and Matthew was immediately at my beck and call after I texted him, he even brought the gift card to me after asking permission to find it in my bag! He was very prompt, got us to our destinations without any issues, always there with a helpful hand for limo exit and entrance. I seriously couldn't have asked for more!
