She just ghosted me and I never heard back. I had an appointment at 5pm on Monday and was sent a text at 3:30pm from the automated scheduling number saying exactly "Good afternoon. I am unable to come up today! I am very sorry! My I can not today. I really tried!" Not much information and I was a little confused with the typos. I tried calling the main office number multiple times with no answer, left a message asking to be called back so I can reschedule, and texting the number asking to reschedule my appointment. The read receipt showed the text was received a little after 5pm the day I sent it (Monday). It's now Friday night and I still haven't heard back. This is extremely unprofessional and now I wasn't able to get my wax done before vacation. read more

I found this place on Groupon. It was a great deal $20 for a Brazilian wax. Theresa was sweet as pie. However, the wax was not. She used soft wax throughout the entire process. Which not only left hair behind, but it also left my lady irritated. Maybe her other services are better. Definitely don't recommend getting the lady parts waxed. read more

Teresa was very sweet.. She took her time putting in eyelash extensions for me. I definitely loved how they turned out (the first couple days)This process usually takes an hour, and you can purchase this on Groupon for $80 (and includes a two week refill). By the end of the first week, almost all of my lashes fell out. I made sure to be very careful with them as I wanted them to last; I've had eyelash extension before and had last me way past two weeks before refill was needed. By the time I went back to get my refill; Teresa had to reapply all the lashes back on.. I was charged an additional $30. I was disappointed as the Groupon I purchased was for the lashes AND the refill.. so why was I charged extra?? Again with the second application, they did not last very long. Found Theresa and Heavenly Escape on a groupon, and I'm so glad I did. This is the best Brazilian deal in town. Even their regular price for the wax is I think $35 - less than half of what a lot of other places charge! Theresa is fast and professional and I've never had a problem getting an appointment. I have no one to blame but myself. You ever been in a situation where you think I really shouldn't stay but I'm here, I need this done, and I could be wrong about what's about to go down? All those things went through my head as I went to this place for a Brazilian. I am by no means a novice. I've been waxing for about 6 years. Just moved back to the area and looking for someone to provide services, I turn to Groupon. There are really some hidden gems on Groupon. BUT I have learned from the past to call first to ask about hard vs soft wax. Alas, that late night Groupon notification that says this deal for two services was 20% off caught me on a less than stellar judgment evening. I get there and go in the back for the service. I immediately notice the GiGi wax pot and a can of the cheap soft wax that comes with the starter pack at Sally's. This my friends is when I should've exited stage left. I was there now, I commented on the soft wax, and I laid my silly self down butterfly style and let this lady terrorize my lady parts. It was really painful with the cheap sticky soft wax and the aftermath has taught me, she was the novice in this situation. The next morning I bumped up and by day 3 Extreme irritation. I was out of town desperately trying to find a good exfoliant safe enough for my nether region. I was unsuccessful in taming the shrew. Here I am a full two weeks later and my little precious is itching like a mosquito bite on a toe. You know that itch that nothing will satisfy? I have exfoliated enough to not create other problems yet it hurts!!! Puss filled white hair bumps and all..... Needless to say I will not cash in the second service. The cheap wax lady who has been doing this for 25 years needs to just STOP!!! read more

This gets three stars because it was not all bad but what I just experienced today was not what I expected. I have been waxed a total of 4 times from Teresa. She has always been pleasant but today she was not. Today would have been the 5th time! The first time i came she was late but I didn't make an issue of it. The second time also fine. The 3rd and 4th times my vagina was very irritated and itchy after. I decided to pay for the 3 for 90 at my 4th appointment. Meaning i had two more services to redeem. Today I get there for my wax, no one is there. So not only is she not there early to open the suite but she is late to service me. I text, i call, and decide to leave as Im leaving she is pulling in. I decided to go in and let her know I wanted to cancel my further services. She was not pleased with that decision so I said ok and told her I just wanted a refund on the remaining of my 3 for 90. She said I don't refund. I said ok how are going to compensate me for your tardiness today. She says with an attitude "what do you want $20 back? I respond yes. As she is getting the money i saying to her its not a big deal or reason to be upset but she is still giving attitude and then goes on about how she been waxing for 30 years. This could've all been avoided had she just communicated that she was running behind she would want the same courtesy if I was going to cancel and which when I had to do a late cancellation she charge me $25. And she will want to stay in communication if I was running late. And you cannot expect more from your clients that you are willing to give. read more

The Brazilian experience was good. Quick and not too bad for my first. I purchased 3 at one time. I tried calling a few times to schedule my other two and had a hard time getting in contact. I gave up after about a year. Pretty sad about the waste of money. As a new Brazilian getter, I would have appreciated a little more information in aftercare. read more

This was a horrible experience overall!! I bought the full extensions + 2 week refill and went to get my eyelashes done here 1 week before my brother's wedding because I didn't have time to do it closer to the wedding. I have had eyelash extensions before which definitely last more than one week looking untouched. The lady was kind and said she had 20+ years of experience (now I know that was either a lie or she had 20+ bad years of experience). I was happy with my lashes the first day and second day, I lost a couple, but that was to be expected. That WHOLE week, I avoided washing my face because I wanted to make them last as long as possible. Every day I saw more and more lashes lost on my bedsheets. Then I just saw they were coming off so easily. By the next week (my brother's wedding), basically all of the eyelash extensions were gone. I paid $75 for the groupon. Worst groupon I've ever purchased (and I've purchased a lot!!) This is the only bad groupon experience I have. I then called back the week I return asking about my 2-week appointment. I informed the receptionist what happened to my lashes and that I was very disappointed. She acted sincere, saying that she would call back in a few minutes after she verified my number on file. I never received a call that day. So I called them the following day and left a voicemail asking if I should still come to my appointment. I never got a call that day either. I just thought it was extremely rude and unprofessional to not call back with apologies or any sort of explanation. If they called back, I would have at least given them a chance and written a tiny bit nicer review, but this was just awful. Definitely unprofessional and would NEVER recommend. read more
