I have been getting a pedicure here for about 10 years now!! They recently redid everything!! The service is amazing. The owners are so sweet. The massage chair is so relaxing while you get your pedicure. One of my favorite parts is the different scrubs they use to massage your legs. You also get a hot stone treatment after the lotion!! When you are finished with your nails they carry your things to the drying station. At the drying station you get a neck and back massage. They do a really good job. Besides nail services, they also offer waxing. They do not do acrylic nails, but they do gel. I went in a few months ago for a pedicure. It was a nice atmosphere and looked very clean. The woman that did my pedicure didn't seem very experienced or knew what to do. She could have been new and was still learning. My nails were cut very short and I was disappointed because I had been trying to grow them so they wouldn't be so stumpy but then got them chopped as short as possible. I seriously feel bad to give these very nice people a bad review but I want others to know the truth before getting something they don't want. Wish I could give this negative stars. Called as a first time customer for an appointment and was given a timeslot and quoted a price. When I arrived, I was told that I need to wait 30 minutes. I didn't understand why. Clearly they had taken walk-ins or double booked. It seems like I always get pushed off. When I walked into the establishment, I was dismayed that it was very unsightly. The spa chairs were all in terrible shape and I felt uncomfortable sitting on such filth. The staff finally obliged and took me right away when I asked them to explain what the problem was with the time conflict. They didn't proceeded to do a terrible job on my toes and when it came time to pay, they charged me more than they quoted me and said that their credit card machine was down. This place used to be wonderful but the last time I was in I was charged $118 for 2 pedicures. I was shocked. It is not what is advertised on their site. Also unfortunately the language barrier was too much for tie owner to explain why we were being charged so much. read more

Good manicure for the price; however, ambience is lacking, worn out chairs, salon in need of painting and limited choice of gel colors. When I asked to have an extra top coat put on because I was going away on vacation I was charged an additional $10.00 without being told beforehand that this was an up charge. when I questioned the charge the technician became defensive telling me how costs have gone up and when I left my usual 20% tip he told me to keep it for coffee. This place is a small hole in the wall in the center of Cannan. Don't let the appearance fool you, this place is amazing! They only have 3 spa pedicure chairs, 2 nail stations, and only 2 employees, but as long as you call ahead to make sure they have time, it's very well worth it! Only $30 for a full 1 hour spa pedicure with callus remover, paraffin wax, hot stone massage, exfoliation, and a beverage of your choice (water, soda, or alcohol!!)! Only $17 for a "simple" manicure, which also includes paraffin wax and a shoulder massage! I recently moved here from California where I was spoiled with amazing spa treatments, this place however not large and fancy makes up for it with great service and equally great pedicures. Did I mention he makes a great drink too? Some of the best margaritas around! My husband and I make date night appointments, we get mani/pedi and drinks and have a great night out! As previous reviews have stated, the manicures and pedicures, especially if done by Berta are great but after going frequently for about two years I have decided to never return. Here are my experiences: I had an appointment at 2:00 pm. It snowed in early morning but was completely cleared by noon. I went and waited for half hour and no one showed up nor did anyone call me to inform me that they would not be coming in. Another time I asked specifically for Berta and another person called me over and did my manicure. When I said I had asked for Berta, they apologized but acted as if they did not understand me. I had previously had the Espy gel manicure which is quite expensive. Berta told me it was the best and would last longer. I was pleased with it but after several visits, she said she had another product that was better and the Espy treatment would damage my nails so, I tried the new treatment. When I went to pay it was much more expensive. With tip, about $55.00 just for the manicure. I felt that I had been mislead. The next time I made an appointment for my husband for a manicure with Berta. It was the middle of the week and not busy. Berta was there but she had another girl do his manicure. She must have been a trainee because she cut his cuticles so badly that they bleed for some time and he was in pain for almost two weeks. I did not want to complain so I went elsewhere for a while. I decided today to give them a try again. A man answered. I requested a manicure and pedicure. He could not take me at my desired time so I asked how long it would take as I had another appointment. He said one hour. I knew this could not be correct as just a manicure takes one hour. When I questioned him on this, he said that he was busy and hung up on. me. One star or lower. I called back and he was very rude. I will never go there again. They are very expensive and not trustworthy. read more

After a gruesome experience at a fancy nail salon in Great Barrington, which involved an infection and a trip to a podiatrist, I decided to give Heavenly a try. It is a small and charming place--and very clean --and my gel manicure and pedicure were meticulously done. While your toes sit under the dryer, someone will come and give you a great shoulder massage.
