I needed my nails filled and had been here one other time. I called on a Saturday am and they were…read moreable to get me in after lunch. The place was nice with space for multiple services. The gentlemen worked on my nails at fast pace. I was disappointed my cuticles didn't get cut only pushed back. The nail color was good. I asked for stripes on my nail that was white. I did show him a picture and although it wasn't what I wanted it was still fun. Two of my nails did break about a week later. Although it was a fill, I was still bummed. I have heard they give good great neck massages so I may have to pop in one day for one.

WORST. PEDICURE. EVER. From the incompetent and resentful nail tech to the owner totalling ignoring…read moremy request for a refund or a new pedicure. Horrible experience. - Nail polish left on skin - Unsanitized nail instruments (one fell on the floor and it was used without sanitizing) - Cuticles barely pushed back - Did not clean under nails - Polish does not meet cuticle/skin on bottom/ sides of nails. Large visible gaps - There was no foot massage - The entire pedicure took less than 20 minutes from the time I walked through the door to the time I was under the dryer - The floors weren't exactly clean I agree with @Jessica Latour Isler. I, too, had a horrible pedicure there a year or two ago. Tried them again hoping it would be better. It was not. Owner had lots of questions when I came in for a mutual resolution to an unsatisfactory service performed. I answered each question until he had no other questions. I've read the owners' LENGTHLY replies to negative reviews from other customers and it's always the fault of the customer. Never the owner or their incompetent staff. Hmmm.... Makes you wonder.... BEWARE.

Since moving to The Catskills, I've had to orbit myself to accomplish those go-to appointments I…read morehad while living in White Plains. One of them being my bi-weekly regular mani+pedi. I love my nail tech in White Plains so much- I wish I could clone her so she can deliver the same expertise and care in my neck of the woods. Keep dreaming, Mercedes. Keep dreaming. Beauty Depot on Wall St in Kingston, NY doesn't scream like the place where you can relax and be pampered- but they were able to fit me in on a Sunday with Lexie. My pedi session with her kicked off the usual polish removal, filling, etc. who turned out to be super patient, unhurried and smooth with her hands. For my regular, short-length nails, Lexie provided essential nail+cuticle care, lotion massage, a hot towel wrap and nail polish application. I'm not one to bitch about money when it comes to any of my beauty regimen- but the $50 for both my mani+pedi here- in this trendy side of Kingston is more than what I paid while living in White Plains. Plus theres no attention to detail and it's unkept. Whether it's a facial I'm getting, massage or whathaveyou, I'm not paying just for the end result, I'm paying for the experience- which I didn't get at Beauty D.

I don't normally ever leave bad reviews but i do wish it was a better experience being so close to…read morewhere i live. I haven't gotten my nails done in a long time however I had gone quite frequently in the past to an amazing nail technician and place. One - it's very cold in there. Not too pleasant when you're sitting there for nails, and wearing fairly warm shoes. Two - the "quick dry" spray doesn't dry. Not to put your coat on isn't an option in the winter in New England. Having a place to dry your nails needs to be in place or atleast communicating to your client just sit here for x more minutes then we can check them. And lastly a smooth looking nail is expected when you pay for nails. I do my nails all the time at home the only different is that smooth finish you hope to achieve by a nail technician. The simple nail art did come out beautiful. Honestly, the salon itself is a no for me altogether with a less than average experience. I don't recommend it. I can be more specific of other issues but I honestly don't like leaving these kinds of reviews. I think the salon owner needs to pay more attention to details while there are far too many nail salons to choose from that capitalize on one of these issues. Maybe it was a bad first experience but i won't be returning.
