I'm not one to leave results for a nail business, because usually they are all "meh" in my opinion. But I've now been here twice and I LOVE this place. The first time I came was for a pedicure. I called and made an appointment and they were true to the time. Pedicure was really good! Second time, today, I came back to try dip powder. I made an appointment and they took me in for my scheduled time. Staff were friendly too! I usually do my nails myself now but it's nice to have someone else do them every so often. I now may be hooked I went far fetch and requested French, thin tip and more natural looking. Pictures do the rest!

This place was amazing! The staff was amazing, and the place was so clean! Additionally, the products they used were amazing! I got a green tea spa pedicure! I definitely recommend this place if you're nearby!

Twinkle Nail & Spa Seems to be a hidden Simsbury gem! Located next to The Harvest Cafe, almost across from the International Skating rink, this salon is big, sparkling clean and welcoming! From the soft spoken staff, to the relaxing and softly playing music, and the best pedicure massage chairs I have yet to experience at a nail salon... so far I was enjoying this first experience. I opted for a Urea spa pedicure ($88). I do wish the menu included descriptions of the various services, as I have no idea how they differ, what I ordered, or which I might prefer. Twinkle, your menu needs descriptions of menu items please . The owner (I think she's the owner by the way she greeted us so warmly), recommended this one and it's been a while... I have a feeling this will be an expensive pampering event... starting with the $5 extra for the Opi "premium" gel Polish that will last longer. Honestly, Opi premium polish is no higher than $13 for an entire bottle on Amazon... but with all this Inflation I felt bad to say no, but I will never pay $5 more to use one polish over another again. Since you won't find the information otherwise, I'll describe what the Urea spa pedicure was like. :) Marley was my nail technician and she was super nice and did a great job! She started by putting a lotion from Germany on my legs. Then another cream and massage, then wrap in plastic wrap. Hot towel, more wrap. A little scrub and some lotion on my heels and bottom of my foot, and more plastic wrap and into a plastic bag, and back into the hot water! I was truly a queen for a day and my legs have never been softer! Next was pumicing the dry skin on my feet, and a long wonderful foot massage with lotion from a fancy, magical looking jar (see my photo)! Everything was wonderful! My daughter got a gel manicure and they did a nice job too. These are the only slight complaints I had: 1. Definitely need descriptions of what each variation of pedicures and other services are. These are expensive, so customers should be able to read and see how each differs from the others! They told me, but there are too many. 2. The staff spoke in their native language in front of us, laughing... and enjoying their own company while with us. This may not matter to most people, but personally I tend wonder if they're talking about us, and laughing. I have left other salons for this reason, so I hope this isn't what happens the next time I visit. 3. There was no after service massage that most nail salons provide these days. To be honest, Marley gave me such a nice foot massage I didn't even miss it. I mention it so you won't be disappointed. I think knowing it's not going to happen helps ease any disappointment. For a gel manicure for my daughter and this luxurious spa pedicure for me it was $133 plus 20% tip, with 5% discount for cash (they have an atm inside too to make it easier). Yes this is a lot to spend, but again, inflation is horribly high (March 2022), so I'm not really sure how high these prices are. All in all this salon gets a thumbs up from me! The staff is professional, they have a bunch of sanitation awards near the manicure area that unfortunately I wasn't near (will photograph next time). The atmosphere is peaceful... no loud music, and very bright, cheerful and clean. Everyone is so kind, and the gel manicure and pedicure we got were wonderful.

My podiatrist told me if I'd like to get a pedicure to go to Twinkle Nail & Spa. She suggested I go here because, their tools are sanitized and everything is cleaned between each customer. I made my appointment by phone for a regular pedicure. This place isn't the closest to my home, but there is no filter when doing my research in regards to finding a sanitized salon. So I took my doctor's word for it. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment, I saw the place was busy, everyone was working on someone. One of the workers greeted me, and told me to pick a color for my pedicure. They had a very large selection of colors, plenty of OPI, Essie, Zoya and others. Interestingly none of them had a white. I noticed this, a lot of the salons keep the white separate. I told them I wanted Alpine Snow, or any opaque white would be fine. I only waited for a few minutes till they were ready for me. There was a plastic wrap in the foot bath, they let me sit in the massage chair while my feet soaked for a bit. I have to say, while the massage chair was nice, I've come across much more user friendly and more efficient massage chairs, at other salons. Then they came to give me my pedicure. They used a hot stone on my legs, massaged and exfoliated my feet and legs. The tools they used on my feet came individually packaged. They asked me before doing anything to my feet. The only criticism I have is I wish my feet were exfoliated some more. They are very professional at this salon. The conversation between the staff is kept to a minimum. The staff wore masks the whole time. They gave me a great looking pedicure with Alpine Snow, which makes my tan pop. I wanted to get a picture of their awards and certifications, but they didn't seem to want me around that area. This pedicure's base rate was $38.00. While I'm happy with the finished result, I'd like to look for a nail salon that's closer to my home.

Awful experience, i paid $100 (without tip) for a dip nail and extension. At any other establishment this would have been 50, MAYBE 70? But 100 dollars is ridiculous. I will not be coming back- the nails are good and Molly was meticulous, but not 100 dollars good. They also pressured me into leaving a tip... I could go somewhere else and save half that to get equally good nails. Don't waste your time or money here UPDATE: less than a week later and one mail already broke. these people are scammers and don't do good work for the price they ask

I stopped by twinkle nails for a gel mani. I called in advance and have no problem with my reservation. My temperature was taken and my hands were sanitized on entry. My nail tech (I forget her name) was very patient and focused. I asked for a unique add-on and they were very gracious to accommodate a new style . The salon is VERY clean and organized. They play lounge music and have hgtv on mute (subtitled). I really appreciate the vibe and atmosphere from this salon. Will update when my nails eventually chip or peel.

I don't typically write reviews but this was the worst salon experience I have ever had. Came in with a dip and just wanted a new fresh dip. They obviously overbooked themselves and I was soaking with acetone for over a half an hour, my fingers were absolutely burning. I had complained about not only the time but also that my fingers were burning and they said that my dip was just thick and needed to sit on longer, I knew well enough that they were just trying to rush other people in and out. I wasn't expecting to spend almost 4 hours just for a dip manicure. After she finally got back to me I had already sat for so long once they were removed I had to walk out because I have a life outside of sitting in a salon all day. They left my fingers in horrible condition and still charged me $30 to do nothing but soak off my nails. Overly frustrated and it was my birthday

Today I got a gel manicure and a green tea pedicure ($65)... my bill was a few dollars over $100, plus I tipped $20. Rachel did my nails today and she did an outstanding job! My gel Polish is perfectly & thinly brushed on my finger nails. My toes feel and look happy. My pedicure included a foot massage and callous removal, I received a nice back & shoulder massage after my finger nails were done. The salon is clean, bright and cheerful. They line the pedicure sinks which I've grown to love (just guarantees that your water will be sanitary), they sanitize the tools. Also super nice was the music they played inside the salon. Classic Nails truly created a relaxing environment for Pampering! I also appreciate and am so grateful that the staff only spoke in their native language once and it was clearly to ask about supplies, not conversations throughout that can make you wonder if you're being discussed. Thank you Classic Nails!

I was very happy when I called to make an appointment and the woman on the front desk was kind, helpful and understandable. when I arrived the salon was clean, empty (but it was a Monday) and I liked the atmosphere, the light jazz was a good touch. I put up no argument and gladly opted for the most expensive spa pedicure. The tech nicked the top of my right toe (sensitive skin) with a nail file. luckily it didn't bleed but as the pedicure went on she sprayed my toes with pure alcohol several times and wow that burned. as an industry professional she should have been using something like sea breeze (it would have been ok only to wipe the nail with alcohol not spray it over the tops of the feet. it progressed when (and this happens almost everywhere) she violently exfoliated my legs with scrub. I'm not here to solicit free advice but scrub does the work on its own, a gentle touch is all you need. I don't want to have my skin scrubbed off: again. ow! The massage was hurried, and missed the key sensory points -- all I can say is there shouldn't be any rushed or hurried movements in the spa industry, to be blunt the massage just didn't feel good, it also lacked pressure. I skipped my manicure all together, but the tech redeemed herself on the back massage as I was drying which delivered the pressure and key tension spots but overall I don't know if I would go back. Still on the hunt for the best spot.
