Also known as Linner: Lunch-Dinner). The dining patio that overlooks tee box #10 and putting green #18 is dog friendly. It's really quite scenic. So the food is typical pub fare. You know, hamburgers / french fries / grilled chicken / a few different salads. This is not high end foofy tweezer food. The portions are large enough for a big appetite, the ingredients are good quality. The preparation and plate presentation is fine. I think the most expensive meal on the menu costs $20. Coors pint on tap costs less than $6. We enjoyed the meal and the view. We lingered for 90 minutes to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Susan was our server. She's smart, authentic, friendly, helpful, prompt. She enhanced the happy experience. She told us that there's a new dinner BBQ menu offered on Friday - Saturday and Sunday evenings. Today was unplayable and embarrassing. The photos I included are all from the middle of the fairway. Every hole was under distress. Did you lose your water source at some point? Clearly you got it back because the course is overwatered. No matter how long you water dirt it doesn't become grass, it just becomes mud. When we checked in they told us that some of the fairways were under heat stress. That is a colossal understatement. This course should not be open. It will take years to repair. But I will never play here again. Duncan should be ashamed of itself for charging this year, what it has charged in the past. We drove down from Reno expecting a fantastic golfing experience. This was a complete betrayal of trust and loyalty, as we are 50 mile club members. I cannot and would not ever recommend this course again. How your dues paying members have not revolted is beyond me.

They were a little backed up on carts and said they would bring them down to us at the driving range once they were ready. The driving range is nice and has the ball trackers there. It's a covered area, so you could go and hit some balls even if it is colder out. The practice putting green was also very nice, with a beautiful view of the lake. It took a little while for them to bring us the carts. He said one he was going to give us didn't have the greatest brakes, so that's why it took some additional time. I will say, our cart did end up struggling with braking and parking fully on some of the steeper parts of the cart path, but we figured it out. The course itself was well-kept, and we appreciated the fairways and greens were not too hard on the surface. It was definitely a challenging course with all of the hazards, but very fun. If you are thinking of walking the course, be prepared to go up and down many steep hills- it would take a while. Areas to improve: I wish there were more ball cleaners around the course, and more water available aside from just at the restrooms. Overall, this is a peaceful course, and a lot of fun!

They had set up a coffee and refreshment area in an adjoining room with a great view out to the golf course. I had chicken for lunch and it was excellent, far better than many catered type events. It was on a bed of mashed potatoes and had asparagus, both well prepared. There seemed to be a bit of understaffing which is to be expected these days, with some minor missteps. For example, the creamer for coffee came way after the coffee service was set up and available. All in all I do recommend this place. It is open to the public and it is a very nice option for a good meal.
