The food was great, the service was absolutely awesome. There nothing better than a nice view on a sunny day; fresh air and lots of sun. I will definitely go back again.

The dining room is spacious, comfortable and offers a great view of the golf course.

When you're enjoying a game of golf, and looking for fine cuisine after a tough day on the course, you'll find The Ridge Bar and Grill is just inside The Ridge Golf Course Events Center, on the golf course, located in Auburn, CA. Are you interested in delicious "American" cuisine, friendly service, and a breathtaking view as you dine? You'll find it all at The Ridge Bar and Grill, located on the golf course, in Auburn, CA. You enter the restaurant through the event center, and you'll be greeted by friendly staff, and a "Please Wait to Be Seated" sign. As the name of the restaurant implies, The Ridge Bar and Grill features a full service bar, and will mix any cocktail or drink of your choice. The dining room is spacious, comfortable and offers a great view of the golf course. The furniture is tables, and there is a fireplace which offers cheery comfort during the cold winter. The dining room exhibits a "sports bar-like" feel, as it showcases many television screens and overlooks the scenic golf course. From the "Starters" section of the menu, I began my lunch with an order of "Kettle Chips." This was truly the way a way to start today's lunch! The menu describes the "Kettle Chips" as "Sliced Russets tossed in Parmesan cheese with chipotle lime aioli." Such a simple description for a delicious appetizer... The Russet potato chips were thinly cut, seasoned, and deep fried to perfection. Surprise... skin was left on the potato chips which added an "earthy" goodness and texture. The chips were tossed with shredded Parmesan cheese with diced parsley, which made for a combination to die for... or better yet, to live for... The "Aioli" sauce made for perfect dipping for the chips, as it was tangy, seasoned, and had the perfect touch of garlic, and it made such a great addition to this wonderful appetizer. From the "From The Grill" section of the menu, I went with a "Pastrami Reuben Sandwich," and "House Fries" as my side dish of choice. The menu describes this amazing sandwich as, "Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, 1000 Island dressing, on a grilled marble rye bread. I describe this sandwich as simply delicious. Where do I begin to describe the goodness of this sandwich? Alright... with the pastrami, grilled to perfection, tender and juicy. Ridge does not skimp on the meat, as there was lots of pastrami on the sandwich. The rye bread was grilled, buttered and toasted perfectly, which made for a great foundation for the meat. Perfectly melted Swill cheese complemented the pastrami, along with sauerkrat - oh my! - and "Thousand Island Dressing" to complete the sandwich. Like a perfect burger, the combination of meat, bread, sides and dressing worked wonderfully, and the meat-to-bread radio worked out perfectly. How many ways can I say this Rueben sandwich was way above "par" in every way? The "House Fries" were simply amazing, as they were not simply fries, as the fries were "loaded" with shredded Swiss cheese, diced parsley and sliced red jalapeño slices. Loaded to perfection! The fries were grilled to perfection, as they were crispy golden brown on the outside, and tender, white and juicy on the inside. The presentation of the fries, and the entire meal, was so beautiful that I hesitated in taking a bite, as not to spoil the beauty. Almost... The small cup of ketchup was a welcome addition, as it made for a great dipping sauce for the fries... not that they needed any enhancement. One bite into the sandwich was simply "heaven," as it was so delicious! The buttered, toasted rye bread, sauerkraut, 1000 Island dressing, Swiss cheese and pastrami... what a sensation! Friendly Debi mentioned the "Pastrami Reuben Sandwich" was a favorite from the menu, and I understand, as this sandwich was simply amazing. How many strokes above par could I give this amazing restaurant? Great food, friendly service and a million dollar view. Five stars, any way you look at it.

I love this place! It is centrally located off of Bell Road and about 7 minutes to highway 80 in Auburn. First of all the grounds are impeccable! Even though we have had heavy rain for several days there was still quite a few golfers enjoying the sunshine today! This place holds alot of golf tournaments AND Weddings. Beautiful decor. Indoor and outdoor seating ( outdoor seating is always busy during the warm days). It may be pretentious when you walk in but it is quite the opposite! I like to go here on my way back from Roseville to enjoy a nice lunch in their restaurant or sit outside and enjoy the views. Prices are all almost under 10 dollars on many popular items. Very relaxing atmosphere! They also have a pro shop on site. They offer a fulll bar which is totally budget friendly! Daily specials. Tons of parking (including a full row of handicapped parking). This is a great place to play golf OR hang with your friends with great food and cocktails ! If you are looking for a place to relax this is it! Thanks to Stacy and Deb for their friendliness and professionalism!

The Ridge Bar and Grill has a statue of President Reagan out front!! I have stopped in to the Ridge for a quick lunch on a few occasions with coworkers. It is an elegant setting and can be quite beautiful on a nice sunny day. The grounds are dotted with bronze statues. Did I mention that they have a striking statue of President Reagan out front?!? The wait staff here has always been great. We have ordered daily specials on occasion and the food has generally been good. On this date I ordered a tuna melt with fries and it was very tasty.

First, we loved this place when it was the original owners. It was always a 10/10 experience. However, since the new owners took over, it really has been a disappointing experience each time; we keep going back hopeful, but I think we've hit our limit. The positives: the menu is creative and has expanded, a great outdoor seating area with fun events throughout the week, and one of the employees (younger tall guy) is super helpful and friendly. The negatives: lacking attention to detail, customer awareness and warmth, and longer than normal wait times. Our last visit, we walked in and were hardly greeted though being the only ones there. We ordered appetizers and drinks. We finished our drinks well before our food came out, 45 minutes later. It took so long we went in to check to make sure they hadn't forgotten. The table next to us was also extremely perturbed because their food took 45+ minutes, for it not being busy. One of the guests asked why the hold up on food and the response was: "well it's Thursday after being closed for 3 days and we weren't as prepped as we thought; that's what happens in restaurants. You can take it to go." I also ordered their Macho Salad, which came without any dressing. Just lettuce and a few toppings. It's disappointing to spend a decent amount of money to have pretty poor experiences. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

I ordered the biscuits and gravy and the pumpkin bread pudding with a peach cider. First the seasonal peach cider was really fresh and a great Sunday afternoon beverage. The biscuits and gravy were incredible. Full of flavor and the biscuits were perfect! The pumpkin bread pudding was amazing as well. Crispy edges with soft middle and a butter flavor. Outstanding. Dining was primarily outside and this place probably is great at sun down with the breeze. So glad we made it in and we will be back for sure.

It came loaded with Tillamook cheddar, crispy bacon, onion rings, mayo, and their gourmet BBQ sauce. The burger was juicy, cheesy, smoky, and slightly sweet without the BBQ sauce overpowering everything else. Adding that second patty made it a beast of a burger! It was way too much for me to finish in one sitting, but that worked out perfectly because it became two meals and how the heck was it more delicious the next day? My friend ordered the Boss Burger, which came with lettuce, tomato, bacon, onion rings, Swiss and American cheeses, and their signature sauce. He made his a double too, which turned an already fully loaded burger into something absolutely massive! Both burgers looked impressive when they arrived. By the time I barely finished my half, he was practically done with his burger... how the... well, lol, he's a man! The restaurant was crowded when we visited, and only about half of the tables were clean. However, the customer service here is always great. I also like that they keep water available on the counter so you can easily help yourself. We had a great time laughing, talking, and even chatting with other customers who shared our love for Burger & Cream. That made the experience even more enjoyable! Of course, you can't come to Burger & Cream without checking out the desserts. We chose a chocolate cookie dessert made with chocolate ice cream, took it back to my place, and shared it there. It was rich, chocolatey, and the perfect sweet ending to a fun time with my friend.

A Great Burger, a Little Nostalgia, and a 20-Minute Test of Patience…read more I've been bringing my family to this location for years--back when it was a Foster Freeze. This place has some history for me. Many a Friday night, when I was the Defensive Coordinator for Lincoln High School, I'd find myself here. And on those hot summer days, my wife and I would stop in with our son Jonathan before heading off to watch Lincoln play Nevada City. So, yes... I have a little emotional investment in this place. Fast-forward to today, and I'm happy to report that the burgers are still worth talking about. The buns were soft, the meat was flavorful, and the whole burger experience hit the spot. And, of course, my family gave the milkshakes their official seal of approval--which, in my household, is basically a Michelin star. The menu has plenty of good options, there's outdoor seating, and the staff is genuinely working hard. They're multitasking like their lives depend on it, so every once in a while you may need to repeat your order. But honestly, I'd rather see people working hard and trying to take care of everyone than standing around looking bored. Parking can be a bit challenging, too. Consider it part of the dining experience--your appetizer is finding a parking space. So why only four stars? The wait. We waited about 20 minutes for our food. It wasn't terrible, but when you're hungry enough to start considering whether ketchup packets are technically a meal, 20 minutes feels like a lifetime. That said, the food was really good, the staff was friendly, and there's a genuine sense that people are working hard to make this place successful. Bottom line: Great burgers, excellent milkshakes, a solid menu, friendly people, and a little nostalgia thrown in for free. I'd absolutely recommend giving this place a try. Just remember: bring your appetite, a little patience, and maybe say your order twice. Four stars--and I'll definitely be back.

They also had a second bar set up outside and a few food trucks which was a nice touch. Oh and lots of dogs, always a plus. Their beer selection is super expansive, all kinds of styles and they have beer slushies! The staff were genuinely so friendly even though it was slammed. I asked for a ton of samples before deciding on one and they were totally cool about it without making me feel bad at all. Really appreciated that. Live bands were a fun idea but they were pretty loud, like conversation was kind of a struggle at times. Also not really a kids at breweries person but that's just me. My biggest gripe though is the bathrooms. Four restrooms for an event that size is just not it. Bring in some mobile restrooms for big events, something, anything.
