I came in for a simple tire change. My car was perfectly fine before that, no warning lights, no issues at all. From the beginning, the mechanic insisted that I stay in the car and not watch the work. He was very persistent about it and clearly did not want me nearby while the tires were being changed. I paid for the service in cash. Immediately after I left, my car started showing serious problems. The ABS and brake warning lights came on, the speedometer stopped working, the speed limit display disappeared, and warning lights appeared on the mirrors. All of this happened right after their service. There is no way this is a coincidence. Either something was broken during the tire change or sensors were damaged or even removed. Considering that I was not allowed to watch the work and that the payment was taken in cash, this situation feels extremely suspicious. My car was NOT like this before I came here. Now I'm left with an unsafe vehicle and problems I never had. No explanation, no responsibility, just damage after a so-called "simple" service. I strongly advise people to be very careful, document everything, and think twice before trusting this place. I will never come back and I do NOT recommend this business. read more

Stopped in recently after an unexpected blowout. They were the only place open within miles and they patched the puncture in minutes and asked a very small price. I'll go back as soon as I get a chance. read more

Cannot imagine how much business this place has lost by not having a functional phone number. 3 times this year I've driven 80 miles out of the way to another shop because I can't get a hold of Heber tire to confirm that they're available or for that matter, open. read more

Like the previous review, don't mind the negative reviews. We had a great experience with the staff here. Family run and owned, and they even have a little taco shop. Our tire was completely shredded, and they had a replacement ready to go at a great price. We came in on a Sunday (they're the only place open in the area on Sundays) on a holiday weekend. It only took 15 minutes to replace the tire, and they were very nice and respectful. Tacos were excellent too! Thank you Al! By the way, it is cash only, so be aware of that! read more

Absolutely amazing service. Hit a dumby fat pothole and destroyed one of our rims and thought the trip was toast. But homeboy was there on a Sunday and made our tire his child and beat that thing in place in like 10 minutes. I'd gladly put my life in Herber the Tire Shops hands at any point ever again. Also only tire shop open in the entire state on a Sunday, which shows that for Herber Tire shop the grind never stops which I respect. read more

I understand experiences at this type of place are wildly different but in my case Al was super helpful and made what would've been a troublesome camping trip into a success. Stayed late and quickly switched out two blown tires onto the rims for us. read more

Had a tire losing air, so I stopped in to have it repaired. It was 2:30, they don't close until 4. The worker said sorry I'm closing early I can't help you today. Since they are the only tire shop in the town I went on down to the gas station to get some air. At least I was able to make it into Show Low where they were more than happy to help me out. I would not recommend them as they are unwilling to help at all, even though they were not busy and I was there at least an hour and a half before closing time. read more

Think carefully before going here for tire repair. Our tire was improperly repaired and two days later I had to return. I was then charged another $20 to have it properly sealed. I talked with a friend who said the same thing happened to him. Not only is the price too high, the workmanship is very poor and you get double charged when it doesn't do the job.Walmart in Show Low was half the price and did a good job! Rude AND incompetent I had a flat in Heber in the pouring rain, I stopped at this shop. They were rude but repaired my tire for $20.00. It did not last. I got to Phoenix and my tire light was on again and I was told that the tire had been repaired incorrectly and "should have blown out". The tired had to be replaced. read more

This place is a joke. Took a tire in to have VALVE stem replaced. They said we are out of VALVE stems and the girl said she would go get some. Then she said , oh , I don't have my car , I can't go . So I said I'll go to NAPA and grab one, the guy responded , I said we would go get them in a smart ass tone, I said forget it , you don't talk to me in that tone. He then said KICK ROCKS. Stopped in with a flat UTV tire, the "manager" came out and filled the tire with air then heard the leak in the sidewall. Next he told me he could not repair it, then charged me $5.00. He said he did not have any UTV tires in stock but said his secretary would call me with what it would cost. 6 days and still no call. I ordered on Amazon and took it to Payson Firestone to install. they only charged me 10.00 to put the new tires on the rims. read more

Okay. It is a long story. If only could give u 0 stars. Try keep short possible; blew tire 260 barely made it to Heber. Shop always closed has bad number. Stuck there for a week which wouldn't normally be a bad thing. Anyways finally get guy on the phone very nice yes of course im out of town but yes of course blah blah... okay drive there open door (,clearly because its unlocked). First whole place stank like dope. Dude pushes me out the door. Screamed in my face about how i cant read and yep crazy.... "we are closed , can u read, hit the road" mahn dont even have time for rest of insults. Barely got out a hi before he flipped... yes should have called police wish i had... but needed help.. I originally offered make statement to lawyer the police whomever about my experience. He was like call my lawyer now meanwhile im driving half*** tire to payson because a tow is 400$... next day leave vm for "lawyer". Never calls back. Nor did owner say; did you get what u need? are u okay? Just craziness. If anyone has small amount of money buy tire shop in Heber you will have corner on market. My wife was in town with the kids and caught a nail. They were nice enough to repair the tire right away! But when she got home next day she then realized the powder coat had been damaged around the wheel. When I called the following day he said he couldn't be sure the damage was from something other than his technician. And therefore wasn't liable for the damage. Very disappointing. When we go to a discount tire type shop this doesn't happen. They then filled it to 32 psi with all other tires at 39-40psi. read more

About A week ago my mom's friend who is 76 years old called heber tires shop and let them know that her starter went out. The mechanic showed up at her house and after about an hour he completed installing the new part and told her it would be $350. As she drove back to Phoenix the starter went out she took it to a Honda dealership and they told her at the part was defective. She returned to Heber tire and brought back the defective part and he refunded her the $140 for the part. The thing I can't wrap my head around is $210 for labor for one hour of work, Seriously!!!. Heber Overgaard is a small town at the store will never be visited again. Price gouging the elderly should be a big no-no. read more

Trying to support a local business and ended up very disappointed. First of all, I was given the wrong tire when I went for a flat repair then when I returned I was told mine couldn't be repaired. So I ordered a new one, I was told what total price would be, but got a much higher bill. I paid the bill & wasn't given a receipt. When I called the next day to ask for a receipt & a copy of the warranty, I was told to come get a receipt but they couldn't give me a warranty, he doesn't have one, then he hung up on me! I was very impressed when I first entered the shop with the kindness shown but soon saw the other side.
