The day I made the appointment I got switched over to the parts department and ordered the part. I confirmed with parts department that it would arrive intime for the install on the 4th. On the date of the appointment, which was confirmed by your text, i had to cancell due to my wife's illness. I call back to reschedule the appointment ASAP. Had to leave a request for call back. I received a voice msg later that day. I find part was never ordered due to me have to prove the Duramax is mine and the part was not and will not be ordered until I personally bring drivers license and proof of ownership of the vehicle. Really? Do you think it might me a good idea to let me know this from the very beginning. Like when the parts clerk talked to me. Or maybe when he found out that he couldn't order it with proper owner proof. It is a good thing that I didn't drive up 20 miles on the 4th just find out you never ordered the part. I would been highly angered. So now I'm going to drive to Horne today to make sure the part is ordered. Not cool at all.

Steven, who was the manager who had helped me out also helped make the paperwork go very smoothly (thank goodness because I hate paperwork). He also took the time to detail my new vehicle as well as ensuring any problems or questions I had would be answered and fixed making sure I knew what they were going to do or what process they were on every step of the way. I loved the fact that they consulted me on everything because buying a car is such a big step and decision and with them making every little transition as smooth as possible you can't go wrong with this dealership. This place is more like a family run than a company run where they only care about your money and not your time or worriers. Thankful I chose to go here for one of the biggest decisions of my life.

They do not stand behind their work, and will rip you off if you are from out of town and in a jam…read more On June 29th, in the middle of a four thousand mile, cross country road trip with my family, my car started acting up. it began to sputter and surge, and felt like it had a cylinder that was not firing. I limped into this dealership, and explained the symptoms to the service adviser. I was informed that their best, and most senior mechanic would be assigned to repair the vehicle. After several hours of troubleshooting, I was advised that I needed a set of spark plugs, a rotor, and possibly a coil to remedy the problem. I agreed to the repair and advised them that since the coil was suspected and old,they should replace that too. I paid this dealership $386.00 for spark plugs, a rotor, coil and labor, and went hapilly on my way. I hit it off with the guys at the dealership, and we talked alot about camping in the area. After approximately 260 miles (4 hours of driving) the problem returned. it was 11 pm, and I was forced to pull over and rent a room in Needles, Ca. Tate Auto Center was closed (understandibly, due to late hours.) The next day I called and spoke with the service advisor at this dealership, Sastamo, and advised him of the problem. He stated that he would relay the information to the Service Manager, Jack. I was then advised that there was "really nothing we can do, if you want to bring it back, we can look at it again." I was 260 miles away, and to tow it back to their dealership would have cost me approximately $600. I was stranded. I had to call a family member In Fontana to pick us up and had the car towed 80 miles to his house I would have settled for the following fair resoloutions: 1. a partial refund, pay for parts only, not labor, since they didnt fix the problem. 2. tow it back to their dealership, at their expense, for further troubleshooting. 3. have me take it to a dealership close to where I was stranded, and have Tate pay for the repair, if they suspected that I was just trying to scam them and get free repair. I am a proud Veteran, I dont make alot of money and am a hard working productive member of my community. I am an honest Yelper, and do many reviews. Tate Auto Center scammed me out of nearly $400. UPDATE-the problem turned out to be a seized distributer cap center electrode. Its the one a spring loaded center. the engine would heat up, the electrode would seize, and the rotor would loose electrical contact with the distributer cap, causing a misfire. The master mechanic should have caught this when he replaced the rotor, looking as to why the rotor was chewed up.

My 1992 Toyota pickup is back in their shop, in Taylor AZ. This is an update of my previous…read moreposting... This is the third motor that they will be installing into our one (1) owner, ran great and quite. Took it to Haralson's for a radiator & tires.. Nine (9) months and $11,000.00 later we got it back.. It sounded like a thrashing machine and loud...we took it to an independent shop to check it out because did not feel comfortable driving it.. The independent shop found that the timing was off, 4 bolts- 3 missing, 1 not even finger tight and the water pump was leaking, just for starters... The mechanic dropped a bolt down the intake, in our original motor, the second one they are blaming the motor company for the motor having a grove in it and that is why the water pump is leaking ? Right !!! Now we are waiting to hear when the new motor will be in and installed.. My main complaint this time is The treatment I am receiving, like I am the bad guy ?? The manager (Cari) at the Taylor, AZ shop is not getting back with me, I have called the main office In Sanford, AZ I've talked to Joey (Manager), Shawn Haralson and someone named Chris.. I have talked to all of them, and left voice maiLes.. No one has gotten back with me. I called and asked to speak with the Owner ( Casey Haralson ) a gentleman named Chris said she was not there could he help me, I started to tell him my name and the situation and that we needed a loaner because we couldn't go another nine (9) months without our truck.. he said he would talk to Casey and call me back in an hour, that was two(2) days ago !! I've tried to call three or four times during business hours, they see my number and just let it ring and ring. My advice to anyone considering, thinking or wondering if they should take their vehicle to Haralson's DO NOT. They don't even have a Certified Mechanic, the correct equipment or knowledge to even do tires ...! Giving them 1 star is way too many. Stay tuned, I'm not done

I came in for service based on other reviews from other source's. I'm glad I did. I had several…read moremaintenance issues for both of our vehicles that needed attention. The staff were always friendly, personaliable and the interior was cared for with a waiting room. (I prefer to drop and leave to run errands). In short time my vehicles were completed in a timely manner and at a fair price. (my alignment was a little off and I was not charged a full rate for a minor adjustment) I will return for my service needs and I highly recommend this location.
