It would've costed me a small fortune to purchase all the ingredients and make everything myself. For less than that, I was able to get a fried turkey, cornbread dressing, rice dressing, macaroni and cheese, broccoli and cheese rice, sweet potato casserole, green beans, gravy, dinner rolls and a pecan pie. I ordered some peach cobbler too just for a little extra razzle dazzle. The food was delicious and the leftovers are even tastier! Huge caveat--THEY DELIVERED it to my doorstep on Thanksgiving day! The lady who delivered actually brought everything in my house and set it on my counter for me. Top notch service! The crawfish etouffee over rice was really good and so was the corn. But the definite star of this particular meal was the bread pudding. I can honestly say the only place I've had better bread pudding was at Lil Dizzy's Cafe in New Orleans. I wish I would have gotten the name of the young lady that served me because she was awesome. Not sure when I'll work in the Gonzales area again. But I'll make it a point to come over here again when I do.

Within seconds after I entered, an unmasked woman standing in the check out line coughed without covering her mouth as I walked by. Long check out lines with unmasked individuals and no social distancing--packed together like sardines. This business is careless about protecting its customers. They are ignoring mandated safety measures. Shopping carts are not sanitized. Many customers are not wearing masks. Neither mask wearing or social distancing is being monitored or enforced. Citizens deserve more from an essential service like a grocery store. I feel sorry for residents of Geismar that have few options for grocery services. I care about my health and the health of my community. I will not be returning to this super market. It's not super.
