A friend and I drove up to Redding, from the Bay Area, just to attend Bethel Church. We had a wonderful time at Bethel and had a little time to explore the campus after church service. One of the gems that we stumbled upon, was HeBrews. The volunteers working here were friendly and knew the menu and their stock pretty well. The raspberry black iced tea that I ordered was wonderful and refreshing. It wasn't too sweet, which is what I like. I just wish that they offered larger cup sizes. All items are reasonably priced as well. I'll be ordering café items from HeBrews again, whenever I return to the area. read more

This coffee spot is inside the church building, but it is still great coffee. I ordered an iced white mocha and it was not too sweet but not too strong--just the right touch. I also enjoyed the drive up the mountains in Redding to find this spot. Overall great experience. read more

I'm discovering the hidden treasures of Redding and HeBrews is at the top of my list! My regular coffee beverage is a double shot of espresso over ice with a pump of mocha and a splash of creme...HeBrews made it just right...They use Thanksgiving coffee beans from Fort Bragg, CA...good stuff! They also have free wi-fi and a nice seating area with mountain views...I love a coffee shop with a good view! I usually call to make sure they are open since they are affiliated with Bethel Church, so I'm not sure if they have "regular " hours. After sipping my joe, chatting with a few peeps and doing some work online I love to cruise over to their prayer house for some quiet time with God....and they have a koi pond with a beautiful garden....but that's a whole other yelp review! HE brews coffee!......HE sure knows how to make his coffee taste heavenly. HeBrews shop is like inside one of the world's best churches (Bethel) so hell yeah it gonna be great! I ordered a hot chocolate and white hot cholate (seperate occasions) with whipped cream on top they both tasted divine and were sweet so I did not need to add any sugar. If you have a sweet tooth you like it, if not, you might find it a bit too sweet. My friends had the coffee's and they loved it. The shop also sells fresh salads, juices, muffins and cookies. I had a chicken salad with cranberries and seeds with a little tub of olive oil herbs to garnish over it. This was a delicious tasty body loving food. The staff was friendly and helpful especially when I did not know what and where thing were in the church. They have free wifi and table and chair seating with a few leather sofa ones as well. They have good outdoor seating as well. It open every day, not just on a Sunday and all is welcome, not just Christians. :) read more

It is very difficult to find a good cup of coffee in Redding. I didn't think that the church coffee shop could be this good, I get an almond milk latte and it is perfect every time I get it. They don't burn their beans it's not overheated and it's just very smooth I am obsessed with this latte! I have gone now 3 times in the last few days and I'm heading there now!! read more

We were driving down 1-5 towards the Bay Area on a scorching hot stretch of road. In desperate need of some iced coffee we found HeBrews on Yelp. Wow! This place is more than a coffee shop. It was an uplifting experience to say the least. We just happened to show up on an early Sunday afternoon, right during the adjoining Bethel church services. Although my friend and I have not been regular church goers of late, we were both deeply touched by this uplifting community during their worship. There were all kinds of people there- individuals and families- different races, ages and abilities- it looked and felt like they were all having a really wonderful uplifting time. The young people behind the counter were super friendly - there was no feeling of "us" and "them" - we felt very welcomed there even though we weren't going to church. Gotta have my latte! Coming from NYC, I had high expectations for the quality of the espresso I drink. I was utterly surprised that my fav is Hebrews after trying 5+ places with highest ratings. They have a variety of options for non-coffee drinkers. Love their smoothies and locally brewed kombucha. I wouldn't mind a cup bigger than 12 ounces. They always have great service and superb quality! They offer meals also but no options for a strict Vegan but no hard feelings. :) read more

Hebrews is so great! They use Thanksgiving Coffee and brew it to perfection. (Never that nasty burnt taste) It's on the price range of Starbucks and well worth the price! They also offer delicious croissant sandwiches, yummy salads,cookies, and bagels. They offer all kinds of drinks, not just coffee. The staff is superb!! Love ordering my triple espresso with vanilla when i visit Bethel & Hebrews!!

Love that we have a coffee shop in our church. The baristas here are alway super sweet and very good at what they do. One of my favorite places to hang out before service, after service and between services. I am not a huge fan of coffee or espresso so I tend to stick to the chai, hot chocolate and other things that don't have espresso or coffee in them. Delicious drinks & cookies, prompt service and a godly atmosphere. What more could we ask for? Recommend it 200%. read more

I love that HeBrews is a part of Bethel Church and they also have such a creative name! The coffee is made with love and care! The only down side is that it is a very small space which is not really ideal for studying and the coffee is good but not amazing. read more
