    Breakfast Burrito
    Gladys O.

First time going here while we're on our way to Mt. Shasta. Place is nice and all their breakfast menu are really good. We tried this breakfast burrito and its so good. Their coffee also is good: i ordered my favorite mocha. The only thing we didn't like about is the matcha. Not even good but most of the food and their coffee are good, will try again here next time.

Glad we finally stopped in. Cheerful place for lunch. Enjoyed a Kailua Pulled Pork Sandwich and Tomato Soup, and a Bacon Cheeseburger with Apple Fennel Slaw. The lemonade with mint was a great kickoff for the summer. Good quality and satisfying meal. Will be back Order at the register from overhead menu, take the number to your table and they will bring your order. Self service sodas and ice tea.

One of my favorite places in Redding! Great food and service! Some of the best fries you will ever have

Apple Caramel pie and double chocolate chip cookie

Meh! Thought it was nice but nothing really special. Yes it's nice inside and the team was nice and helpful. Interior was nothing special, was a bit dirty as there were tables not wiped of and stuff on the floor. Very casual and very local. The food, Humm....... Well the pork was over salted and so much barely edible. The bowl it came in overall was not well balanced in seasoning with nothing but salt as it was overpowering. The ahi tuna bowl was dry and what dressing there was was too little. The base was bland and if it were not for the little bit of dressing it would have no flavor. The two desserts (a double chocolate chip cookie and a salted caramel apple pie) were not good at all. Looked good in the case however not the case. Cookie was like a rock and dried out. Not the brownie texture we were lead to believe. The Pie, was a teaspoon of some filling but mostly crust and that was like eating sand. The reason for two stars was just the service.

    Amazing wall quotation.

I was brought here for breakfast on my last day in town. Upon recommendation, I went with the pork breakfast tacos and they were amazing. I wished I lived closer, because I wanted to try everything. I also ordered chai, and it was incredibly tasty. Everyone was really nice, and the food was really aaonably priced

    Chicken Teriyaki Bowl

Quickly turned into my go-to! My first time at the Redding location as I frequent the one in Red Bluff. But happy to report I received the same amazing service and enjoyed the same delicious chicken teriyaki bowl! This location is a bit smaller than RB & has a small parking lot, but there is more further in... just a small note the second lot is not well lit at night. The staff was friendly, welcoming and checked on me- I also ordered the fries which are totally addicting! There is a huge menu which I am hoping to move to different items but this bowl is too good! Served over a bed of white or brown rice with bell peppers, onions, mushrooms and sesame seeds. Well portioned too! I always have left overs. Will continue to come back when in the area! Thank you!

The place is neat and clean, small in size - understandable due to the location it is at. We've been to Redding many times and this is the first time we tried this place. Service is fast and efficient. Staffs are friendly. I'm a little hesitant to dine here since its by a gas station but a friend recommended it so we give it a try. I got the TAB sandwich (forgot to take a pic of it, we're super hungry because it's late for lunch already). It was perfectly seasoned with everything, I love how the sauce is not so overpowering the other ingredients. The only thing is it's a little bit messy yo eat, chicken keeps on falling off the bun. But to say that we like this place is understatement coz we went back the next day for dinner, this time my hubby got the ahi salad and I got the barbecue chicken salad, our friends hit the black and blue salad and we all loved it. Of course we tried their pie, the only pie they had for the night was the blueberry. It's good, not too sweet. It's more of a cheesecake kind of dessert. This will be my favorite go to for sales and sandwiches in Redding.

I'm a sucker for their Monte Cristo sandwich and my husband always gets their eggs. Their hash browns are perfectly crispy, and he likes their blackberry jam. Had the BEST Monte Cristo I have EVER had!…read more We're in Redding for the weekend and turned to Yelp to find a breakfast spot--so glad it led us to Trendy's! The reviews were spot on because Trendy's did NOT disappoint. I love a good Monte Cristo and have tried a lot of them, but this one is hands-down the best I've ever had. The ham and turkey tasted like something straight out of grandma's kitchen on a special holiday, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the bread-to-meat-to-cheese ratio was absolute perfection. The service was just as amazing--Alma, our waitress, suggested I try the mango jam with it. I was hesitant (I'm usually a berry jam girl), but WOW... it was so good I ended up taking some home! My husband ordered the BEN sandwich and said it was delicious. He also had the fresh-squeezed orange juice, which brought back sweet memories of his grandma making it for him in a little amber glass when he was younger. Portion sizes are generous, prices are fair, and parking was easy--which is always a win. If you're passing through or local to the area, make sure you stop by Trendy's for breakfast or brunch. There's a reason they have so many great reviews! *REVIEW UPDATE* It was so good the first time we went back today! My Husband had the steak tacos and said they were AMAZING! I have a sensitive tummy and sometimes finding a good mix of carbs and protein can be a challenge. I ordered just a scrambled egg and since the turkey in the Monte Cristo was so good I ordered turkey all by itself for an added little protein! Dipped it in their homemade jam of course! For my carbs I ordered a pancake. (Kind of apprehensive about that from a prior review I read...) that review was way off! If that pancake was from a box please let me know who makes it cause it was so fluffy and yummy! As we sat outside we saw many people come in and out and the employees greeted many of them by name! I almost wish I lived closer so I could be a regular too! Sorry no pics This time as we are before we thought about it!

Located in the Placer Heights Plaza, next to Starbucks. Same plaza as Holiday Market and CVS Pharmacy. We were seated immediately as they were not busy. The menu was a bit different than online. Our server came to take our order. He didn't introduce himself and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We decided on the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken sandwich and catfish po' boy. When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place.
