It's so important to hire a lawyer; I'm glad I didn't just represent myself. Heather ensured my paperwork was in order and that's something I wasn't confident in myself. This was the second experience with a lawyer and the first left me traumatized by poor communication and unjustified fees and bills beyond my retainer having no accountability. Heather went to court for me and got me more than I anticipated. Heather's staff also explained the child support process and contacted my ex to arrange the payment effective tomorrow so that I would not need to speak to him.
