Only people who sit at the bar get happy hour prices. My friend then asked these young ladies to please get their manager, she would be going to the ladies room and would like to speak with a manager upon her return. One of the girls asked her would she like to be walked to the bathroom? She was advised that wasn't necessary, just please provide a manager. I clearly let these young girls know that my friend was not looking for preferential treatment, not looking for a favor, this is THE LAW! One cannot discriminate against the disabled! Now yes, it turns out that we were not in the hours where we could get happy hour prices, and that was absolutely fine. But these young women need to be schooled on the ADA . As it turned out, the manager was a lovely, knowledgeable and kind woman who knew her job well. She explained that they had opened at 11am, therefore happy hour had ended (we arrived at 4pm). But she was professional and courteous. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. My complaint is with the door staff not being made aware of ADA laws and that they are in fact not something they can choose to ignore or enforce at their own discretion.
