We had a leak in our well head and we called another well company first. They said they would need 6 people in case it went bad. I called Heidekruger Well and Pump and they came out and sleeve our well head in 15 minutes and everything was completed neat and clean with no hassle. Can not recommend them highly enough! They do good work but do not take any form of e-payments -- only cash or check. As an out of town landlord, this is very inconvenient. Their explanation is they "have been doing it this way for 40 years." It's very clear that they don't want to make it easier for clients to pay them. They also don't mind losing business over it. If they're old school in their payments, they're probably old school in every other way. If this works for you, hire them. I used to be one of their clients, but their inflexibility regarding payment options was an inconvenience that led me to hire someone else. read more

We recently purchased a home. The previous owner left receipts for every service call. Turns out Heidekruger installed a new well last October. The Home Depot free high water resulted as us having high tds. When I called their company to discuss the issue the office staff was helpful and told me I would receive a call the following week. As promised I was called the following Monday by Eddie. He came out to the house, looked over the system, and discussed my concerns and gave me a tutorial of the system and how to maintain it. He was at our place for about 40 minutes, never asked for a consultation fee, told me to call if we were getting a filter canister full of sand in the system and he would come out and fix it. Eddie also discussed the type of well he installed and why and he told me the utility of that type of system. He is very knowledgeable. I can not stress enough how nice, professional, and neighborly Eddie was. Although our license plate reads NC, my wife and I both grew up in the area. I called, made an appt. No one came, or called. I called to find out why they never came. I was told there were others more important than me. So, I said ok, I'll wait. That was 4 weeks ago. We waited all week for the guy to come Friday but he never showed. The office lady actually lectured us for not having answered the phone and called us liars! We refrained from planting, pending the location of the well. We were told they'd call and say what time Friday, but no call. So we left them a voice mail in the morning, and another in the afternoon. We finally reached someone in the office later in the afternoon and she said the crew would be in our neighborhood next. I told her we'd be here. I left my friend here in case they came while I was at a Dr. appt. They called during the Dr. appt - which I missed because my ringer was off. And, since I didn't answer they canceled - because we couldn't be reached! I hadn't heard the voice message and called again and was lectured. When I said, "Wait, I did confirm, by two voice messages..." she interrupted to lie and say I hadn't left two messages! "... And a live call - the appointment was confirmed!" My lady friend stayed here and could have been doing something else, but stayed and waited for the well digger. So then the office lady proceeded to lecture me about their policy of phone calls first! She added insult and lecture to injury. Now we start over with a different company. I wish there were less than 1-star - they deserve it. read more

We lost water early Friday morning, called 8 plumbers, none could come before Monday. Monday afternoon we get a call that the plumber had truck problems and someone would be out first thing Tuesday morning. Yes, the new guy came out nice and early, took one look at the problem and said he couldn't help that we needed a team to either dig up the floor and locate the leak. Or rerun the pipe from the well to the pump. (This after telling the scheduler 3 times the leak was under the cement flooring). Heard nothing Tuesday, called Wednesday to remind them that WE HAVE NO RUNNING WATER for 5 days! I was told yhe "scheduler" went home sick! I took a chance and phoned Heidekruger and explained we have no running water from our well. She said someone would be out the next morning! Sure enough, he showed up and reran the piping in one hour we had water. (BTW Meeks does not fix Leaks!) Joshua Is FANTASTIC! Honest, hardworking and knows his stuff! read more
