All fine and dandy until there is a problem! True character shows in the aftermath when u have already paid and there is an issue! Of course it's not their problem!!!! Even though they were very busy, they fitted in our pump out within five days. We had Crotty do a septic inspection for home purchase and gave us many useful tips and information. The owners are certified soil scientists and knowledgeable of state rules and regulations. There is not a more honest, fair, and knowledgeable septic services around. After an after hours, flooded bathroom incident, we called Crotty Services to pump our tank. The husband & wife duo were experienced, polite, knowledgeable and fast! In the process of digging to pump the tank out, we discovered our (very, very old & outdated concrete) tank had disintegrated & crumbled and our system needed replacing! It was a mess! We worked out a reasonable price to collapse old system & replace it with a entirely new system with drain field. The permitting process took 6 or 7 weeks, but that was the permitting office's issue, not Crotty's. The day after the permit was approved Crotty Services came out and did the install & collapse. We were showering at home that night! Surrounding neighbors have also had their systems replaced by other companies and Crotty saved us THOUSANDS!!! read more

After having 2 other companies come out giving inaccurate reviews of my septic system using methods that are not allowed to determine a pass or fail, I am so thankful i called Wayne at Crotty Services and he was able to come out and do a proper inspection and pump my tanks. He is incredibly knowledgeable of all aspects of septic systems and explained everything as he was working. He is also HONEST and will give you an honest review of your system. Other companies will look to make you feel like you need to spend a lot of money on a system that is working as intended just because they can. Dont waste your time or money on other companies when Crotty Services will do it right the first time and give you an honest assessment. They are not looking to take advantage of you for their financial gain. The other 2 companies that came out contradicted themselves on which tank was which, stuck their hand in the water and then smelled it to "confidently" determine which tank it was, sketched the tanks in the incorrect orientation, didn't even check one of the tanks before saying the tank was bad and performed checks on the tank incorrectly to determine a pass or fail. One of those companies have a lot of good reviews (the same company that didnt know what tank was what...) as well so that is very concerning. I wish i could give 10 stars because this is hands down the best company to call for your septic needs. read more

When I called I knew that it needed to be pumped out. They asked if I wanted it done today but I declined and asked for the next day. They said it would have to be in the afternoon and I agreed. They said some one would call about 30 minutes before they came. I asked for a price and she said $225, less than any I had paid in the last 16 years! Next day I got the call, the truck arrived in 30 minutes and Jeff got right to work. We talked while he pumped and I asked him if they did regular plumbing for another problem I had and he suggested a plumber with name, business and phone number. Then he asked how I would like to pay the bill. I was ready with cash in hand and I got another surprise! There was a discount of $25 for a cash payment!
