However, as soon as you enter, you realize the sheer size and organization of the vendors and items. Welcomed with a greeting from the front counter employees, you immediately are whisked into stall after stall of treasures. As you move through, you realize that there are staircases hidden within and floor after floor of more and more. I have found some of my favorite booths... Pittsburgh Sports, Disney vintage, and some vendors who just seem to find those trinkets that interest everyone. And surprisingly, the vendors seem to always be adding more and new items to catch your eye. The value is up to the buyer. I always can find a few things to grab that are at a good price. But with so much inside, I'd be surprised if you wouldn't walk out with a bundle too.

Sometimes there are sales throughout the whole store which is a bonus. I've found some amazing stuff here over the years, including snowflake pyrex which my dad collects. The rows and aisles go back far and all of the shelves and floors are covered with merchandise. There are some spots where the walking is tight, but it's mostly easy to navigate around. They have a wide variety of items from marbles, to furniture, bottles, clocks, and purses. I think most collectors or individuals just interested in antiques would find a few things to pique their interest here. The staff were friendly and greeted us upon entry and exit. They had a few bathrooms scattered around with a unisex one right when you walk in. The bathroom was clean-ish and had soap and paper towels. The prices seemed fair, in most cases. I saw an identical purse here for $40 that was $50 at another location down the road.

There is plenty of space in each room, not crowded at all. They had a good variety from clothing to jewelry, housewares, toys, and a little bit in between. We talked to the fellow working there - was that Tim? - and he was very kind. He told us the history of the house (a former funeral home) complete with some anecdotal ghost stories. The shop itself is huge. Despite its size it is easily navigable. There is an impressive collection of lanterns hanging from the ceiling on the 2nd floor that I found particularly neat. Sadly, while I did find some items that would've worked for what I was looking for, nothing was reasonably priced. I didn't know if haggling was acceptable so we just decided to move on. In any event, there is lots to browse through. If you're planning a visit set a side some of your time!
