I had a friend post and recommend this place on Facebook as a thrift store furniture so finally checked it out on a Saturday. I was confused and still was after looking them up. So, Zicknacks and Treasure Trove Fleatique both share same address and signage is for Treasure Trove Fleatique. Once inside, the downstairs has used furniture while upstairs has booths for different vendors of used items, a lot of it vintage. There is even a plant booth which I loved and purchased a couple plants at a good price. Sooo, after coming home and searching online I am deducing on my own that Zicknacks occupies the main floor/downstairs portion of this venue of furniture and furnishings (I never saw any signage-- did I miss it?) And other vendors occupy upstairs. I must admit this particular visit there wasn't that much furniture but I can see that this is a good option when searching. The cashier is on the main floor near the front door. Searching online it shows Zicknacks also does donation pickup and has Hauling services. read more

Her personal care department needed to be emptied within a few days to avoid paying the next month's rent. The kind men removed large and small furniture, clothing, and other items. I hate leaving a bad review, but take transparency seriously and wish I would have read reviews first. We decided to repurpose a spare bedroom which turned into going through our entire house to find stuff that we no longer needed. When I saw the pile of barely used, useful things (almost new queen size mattress, microwave, keurig, wooden hamper, decorations, other small kitchen appliances)... I realized that I needed to donate the items and started googling places that gave back to our community. When I was googling to setup a Veteran pickup, ZickNacks was advertised and was in our community. I submitted a form, called and texted. I ended up texting back and forth with someone from the organization. I told them exactly what we had to donate. I chatted back and forth and was told that they would take everything, but the clothes and shoes (which I understood). We scheduled a pickup time. We unloaded our vehicle (we had originally planned to just take it to Goodwill) and brought everything inside which was inconvenient, but I told myself was for a good cause. The day of pickup, we put everything on our side porch. The driver arrived... alone. I was shocked that a single person would be sent to retrieve a queen size mattress and I'm not sure how he would have gotten it into the truck if my fiance wasn't here to help. He was incredibly kind, but per orders... had to go through our stuff and submit pictures to someone at ZickNacks who told him what to take and what to leave. This wasn't ever explained to me or mentioned to me. If we wouldn't have been home, we would have had no idea why our stuff had been picked through and left. They only wanted the mattress and the microwave. Before agreeing to pickup the mattress, I had to submit photos of it (which I understand)... I went ahead and left a very expensive allergy cover on the mattress so that it would be protected during the move and arrive to its new owner in great shape. The mattress was moved in the bag (ruining the bag)... but then the driver had to REMOVE the bag... that was protecting it... to strap it into the truck with filthy straps that marked the mattress with black stuff. Honestly, I feel duped. I regret choosing this organization to donate to. I was happy to donate our belongings to ZickNacks, but I NEVER agreed to having someone come and "shop" my donation pile. I wish I would have gone with somewhere else. If they only wanted the mattress and the microwave, they should have been upfront about it... I kind of get the feeling that they said they would take it all, just because they wanted the couple of things... and didn't plan on taking the other stuff. I won't ever donate or support them and would recommend finding a different organization to donate too as well. read more

Issues parking. Don't drive to drive around back your vehicle will bottom out either going down or coming up. If you park in small shared upper lot, it requires you to walk down a nerve wracking metal staircase. Walked in setup like a furniture store in which each little space has a living room displayed or a bedroom. It doesn't have all the fun small interesting items like it did when on Rt. 88. Didn't care for the vibe at all. Customer was annoyed and told to come back another time. I sadly will not be back again despite it being in my backyard. I suggest going to Miller's Crossing on Crane Ave 92. Just below Brashear Highschool. Only daily 11-6p 7 days a week. Friendly staff. Place is Enormous. No I'm not affiliated with them in any way. I discovered the shop last week. Will definitely frequent on a regular basis as this is also in my backyard. read more

Two things about this place. It is unique. It is busy. It's not just busy because of it's location along Library Road, but because while we were in here, items were steadily going out the door. I can see why too. It is some high quality items inside. Lots of different furniture, they seem to have more furniture than other thrift stores in the area. The inside is rather big. From the outside it doesn't look so big, but when you get inside the building is so long. It's almost like walking through a maze to see everything in here. Checking out can be a bit of a task as the employees are probably running around helping other people. But once they get to the register, it is smooth sailing. read more

Not worth it. Came before noon on Sunday because that's the hours posted on their site. Don't open til 1. Looked into the door looked very small and there wasn't much. Not worth a trip at all. Looks more like junk, there was more out by their dumpster than inside. Hard time believing they support or donate to anything as their web site indicates because there were no signs, it was so small, and looked like some persons garage more than a bonfire store. read more

Very poor customer service. Was in there couple times.. Thought maybe it was just me they were rude to. It's best not to ask for help.. Thought again maybe it was me. But witnessed the owners wife rude to older man, who just ask question. Felt bad for the older man. You could see his smile quickly change..Enough for me to speak up and say.That wasn't very nice..Owner wife then replied back to me "your not very nice". I just held my tongue,as any true Christian should do, and I left...Thing I've never got about this place is they take donations for FREE and sell too the "poor". Why don't people just cut out Zicknacks/middle man. And give it to the poor? I used Zicknacks to remove the furniture from my mother's estate. The two guys did a nice job although they showed up late and with a truck that had stuff in it from a prior job. Consequently they were not able to complete the job and had to return a week later. Scheduled for 9am on the second Saturday they showed up around 11am and loaded the additional furniture but were unable to fit a large sofa bed in the truck. They promised they would be back but upon calling the owner I found that he wanted an additional amount to come back and take the sofa bed that was now standing up in the front yard. I refused to pay more as they already were paid $400 and had all the furniture. I believe that that they should have finished what he had contracted to do. I would avoid using this company. Also they pretty much destroyed the molding around one door opening gouging the wood in numerous places! read more

**AVOID AT ALL COSTS** The owners of the shop and all of their employees openly do not wear masks while working. This isn't the case where 75% of the employees were wearing masks at the time of the visit and one or two people had forgotten, or pulled them down. Visiting over the weekend and 5 out of 5 employees had no masks on, no masks visible, even as elderly and other at-risk customers shopped. Even though they are defying state orders, the owners will probably respond to this post that it's their business, and their right to decide if they want to wear a mask. And sure, it is. But it's my right to alert the public that if they are at all concerned with their overall health they should not stop by this store any time soon. We won't be back, and next time we get rid of furniture we no longer need, we'll be sure to donate it to an organization that respects its customers. read more

This is kind of a weird thrift store. There isn't really signage that's visible from the road, so it's a little hard to spot. When you walk in, things don't look very organized other than clothes all being in the same area, and they have a large section of furniture. Anything else is just kind of scattered around. I had a hard time finding where a register was because there wasn't anyone stationed at it. Employees weren't wearing face masks. I MIGHT stop back someday if I'm looking for furniture, but it'll be the last place on my list. read more

I thought this was a good place to donate. I even gave them a chance after reading some other reviews. I wish I hadn't. I called to schedule a pickup and told them everything I had. They were really nice and said they would take it all. Whenever they showed up it was really weird/almost shady. They went through every bag and item and only took the hot ticket items. I ended up taking the rest to Salvation Army and they were very appreciative. I would not recommend Zicknacks to anyone. read more

I found this place through a Facebook marketplace post, which seems like an odd place to find an antique store, but I'm so glad I did. I got a wonderful 50s chrome formica table that I had been in search of for ages at an amazing price. Their space is small and it seems like that sell things really quick. They have a Facebook page where they post all their new items too, so you don't necessarily have to go there in person to see what's in stock. read more

Before you go to shop at this place be aware the owner and employees do not believe everyone has to wear a mask. Second the employees have a bad attitude and I believe that is enough for anyone to go shopping there. I also had trouble with Zicknacks when trying to donate. I found them online and thought it was a good cause so called them to donate appliances. Large appliances, ka-ching for them! I told them on the phone that they were dirty but still worked well. They had me send pics, I supposed because I said they were dirty. They got the pics and said they would take them and we scheduled a day. I took a half day off of work so that I could be there for them. When the driver arrived, he said he had to confirm with Zicknacks because they were dirty. He texted them. They immediately responded and told him not to take any of them, even the mostly clean dishwasher. I tried calling and texting them, the same number the driver had, and they completely ignored me. I tried for 20 minutes. Still - ignored. I am trying to give them something good and taking my time from work to do it and this is how they act? They eventually texted me that they would not take them because they were dirty. I could have and would have cleaned them if they had asked me to but no one ever said that was a problem and they had the pictures, inside and out, that showed the dirt. Come on. I took a half day off of work and was treated like the dirt on my appliances. Never do anything for people like that. Spend you money with people who care. read more

There is nothing I love more than a great deal and I grew up shopping at thrift stores. When I moved to the area I was excited to hear Zicknacks was a local thrift store that was right down the street from me. I have stopped in a few times over the past year looking for a bedroom set and casually shopping around and their store is well maintained and they offer a large amount of high quality furniture and other items. The staff are very kind and helpful which made my shopping experience great everytime I have visited. The offer free pick up for donated furniture which means they have a good variety and rotation at any given time. The keep all of their listed furniture on Facebook in a group and they also post it in local For Sale groups on Facebook. That is how I spotted the bedroom set that I just purchased from them and I couldn't be more excited! 02/18/20 Made a purchase, it was raining, I parked on front, owner well the guy restocking shelves I the I haul truck locked front doors and left side open. Had to walk to far in the rain with items. Refused to let us out of the door we came in. Locked it right in front of us. Was rude Ab it to. Then another guy I guess delivery driver walks behind us with an intimidating look on his face.
