To start the tiramisu cookies had wonderful coffee flavor, and the fresh, creamy frosting paired nicely. The chocolate chip cookies were soft, chewy, and had chocolate woven throughout. One of the best I've had! The olive cakes were good, well backed and had a delicate flavor. However, we weren't the biggest fans of the thyme flavor, but that's just our preference. The focaccia was deliciously savory, the toppings paired well with the bread without overtaking its flavor. Lastly, the showstopper, was the cinnamon roll. It was next level good, and I dare say the best I've ever had. The roll itself was soft, buttery, and full of cinnamon spice. The frosting was perfect, creamy with a delicate cream cheese flavor. I know I'm going to be craving it in the future. On top of the delicious baked goods, the interior was clean and had welcoming vibe. The employees were kind and helpful. The price for everything was $58, which makes sense with how expensive groceries are nowadays. And you're supporting a small, locally owned business. After we walked in, a fire truck pulled up, and the lady stopped helping the line to help the firefighters - although I had kids in the car and was in a hurry - it felt very small town, and that somehow added to the appeal. We got a dozen donuts including blueberry cake, devils food, honey dew, buttermilk, Boston cream, banana cream, cinnamon powdered sugar, strawberry cream, and some other one I can't remember the name of. They were all very tasty! The creams were generous, flavorful and a great texture and the powdered toppings were strong and packed on! My typical go-to are blueberry cake and devils food/chocolate cake, and they were just okay, but the rest were absolutely worth trying! Interestingly, they do a baker's dozen (13 not 12) but the 13th donut is chosen from a separate case with options that are different than the regular donut options and at other places would cost more like cinnamon rolls, apple fritters, specialty long johns, etc. we found that fascinating, as I tried to get one as part of my dozen and they said those are the free ones instead. I don't usually eat sugar, so trying donuts on this vacation was a big stretch for me, but these were absolutely worth it! If you're ever in the area and want a treat that's both authentic and tasty, Jolly Pirates is the place to try!
