The library hosted a fashion show that featured area students that designed dresses made from trash & other found / discarded items. What these young people came up with was absolutely miraculous, and the juxtaposition of those beautiful creations over the fact that we have a massive waste crisis on out hands in this world was really moving. One dress was made entirely of green soda bottles curled and extruded to create a flowing, bouncing ensemble mirrored by a hairdo of similar curl and body donned by the model. Another outfit top was made almost exclusively with a young lady's grandfathers old ties. Very creative! This is why I live in this part of Florida, and why I will continue to support the community and events they offer for many years to come.

Parking is interesting as the stadium is in the middle of a neighborhood. So plan accordingly before you go. There is a mix of paid parking and street parking around the area but with the size of the stadium that parking can get filled rather quickly. Note e if you stand right outside of the stadium, there's a likelihood that you could catch a foul ball right on the street. I witnessed that firsthand as I was leaving the stadium and one of the vendors straight up caught a a fly ball coming over the stadium wall with his bare hands. It was quite a sight to see. The week after my dense breast ultrasound, I broke my foot and ankle after falling from a ladder. Medical expenses were piling up quickly, and my co-pay for this appointment was a few hundred dollars, which we were struggling to gather. So, I wasn't in the right mindset for this at all! Despite my reluctance, I had some great conversations with the staff, who tried to convince me to come in. Two women said, "Dawn, we're the same age, and we understand! But please let Dr. Hendricks check you out; you'll love him; he's the best." Eventually, Melissa and another wonderful lady with a British accent (I apologize for not remembering her name) persuaded me to go. After many tears and prayers, I made the appointment. I met Mackenzie and another friendly ultrasound technician who spoke with me and eased my mind while we waited for the angel, Dr. Hendricks, to enter the room. When he came in, he was all smiles, warm, and genuinely concerned about my worries. That was so refreshing! During my exam, we discovered two masses; one was clearly a cyst, but the other was questionable. He attempted to biopsy the questionable mass, but it vanished right before our eyes as he diligently searched for it. We witnessed a miracle that day. He was honest and kind enough to inform me that, in good faith, he wouldn't charge me for the visit since there was nothing to send to pathology. My visit and co-pay were refunded to me! He also scheduled a follow-up ultrasound in three weeks to double-check, again at no cost. The miracle continues: I do not have breast cancer! As a praying woman, I truly believe that Dr. Hendricks was the answer to my prayers. The honesty, compassion, and concern he showed me will be forever remembered. For the past four months, I have been using RSO oil as a medical marijuana patient since I was initially told I might have breast cancer. A decently sized convention center with average seats, stage, and capacity. Unlike, say, the Florida State Fairgrounds convention center, which has very large staircases to the seating area around the back, this one has two staircases (on each side) located in the front. The downside of this is that when whatever event you're attending is over, mass congestion occurs right at the base of the seating area, and you're basically in a swarm of people until you break back out into the lobby. Parking was pretty simple, though it's mostly on grass. If it's been raining and you park here, you're gonna have a bad time. The traffic light to get in (if you're coming across the bridge) is horrendous. I recommend heading down Haben to avoid it.
