Place is well-laid out and well-curated. A decent assortment of furnishings and decor for a shop on the small side. Prices are reasonable, especially if you hit it at the right time. I'm going to make an effort to stop in more frequently when I'm "across the bridge" and do some treasure hunting! read more

Starting in November 2025, there are new owners with lots of new and fresh ideas with a commitment to customer service. Prices are reduced on new inventory every 30 days and those markdowns are reflected on the tags. I don't need to stress out about 'bartering'. I find it a clean, creative and welcoming shop to visit when I'm in Knightville...and of course I have to stop for a bite to eat at the many lunch spots in the neighborhood. read more

I usually find something to buy here-stock is ever changing so I go back as often as I can. Prices can be a bit high on some things though.

I stopped by this shop with my friend who lives in Maine and got 2 beautiful pieces of art that I hung in my office. They are perfect and I'm so glad I got them. They have these works of art and have dates where they go down in price and you can wait and can't guarantee you will get the painting. If I lived closer I'd be there regularly. Notice that most of the reviews are old? This says something. I used to be a frequent customer and most of my home was filled with items from this store. The owner referred me to someone to help with some furniture I owned. He ripped me off thousands of dollars, he threatened me, he showed up at night (when our appointment was during daylight hours) with an intimidating big dude to get money from me. It was the worst nightmare ever! When I told the owner of this company about the bad deeds of this subcontractor she recommended, she said it was my fault.. . Tell that to the witnesses at my apartment complex who saw, heard and were horrified by this shyster. I had planned to take them to small claims court but covid hit. After years of being a great client, the owner threw me under the bus. I have not been back since and have told everyone my story. read more

Coming from Boston where the prices for everything are insane, I found a lot of incredible pieces for my new home at a fraction of the price. I have visited Heirloom Consignments since it opened, having both bought and sold several items. It is a lovely store and I have gotten nothing short of top-level service since my first visit. The owner is astute in her pricing, and offers an eclectic variety of products that are professionally merchandised. I don't expect to find rock-bottom prices, but have found some good value for what I have purchased. I have waited for a specific item to be reduced according to the date on the tag, and sometimes it is still available, whereas other times the item was sold before that date. That's part of the fun of shopping here. The fact that the inventory turnover is high validates the quality and price. If nothing else, a trip here is enjoyable if it only results in nostalgic memories. The owner has a good thing going here for both sellers and buyers. In my early career, I was an executive with a large regional retailer, after which I taught in the business school for the past 25 years, so am quite familiar with best practices. And, by the way, I typically come to resale stores in my sweats or other similar attire so I don't stand out as being wealthy or demanding. I just want to blend in so I can be myself and be treated like any other customer. read more

Heirloom Consignment has a really nice selection of high quality consignment furniture and I would love nothing more than to say I'd be a frequent customer. Unfortunately, the owner and what I think was her husband didn't ask if I needed any help or if there was anything I was looking for. Even when I was the only person in the place! The husband actually avoided eye contact with me, and I don't think I'm that scary looking. At one point I thought he was speaking to me, but nope...it was the dog in the back room. When I finally got her attention to inquire about a piece of furniture, she seemed put off when I asked if she had a tape measure that I could use to measure it and was extemely rude to me. When other customers came in who, maybe on this particular visit, were looking to spend more money than I was, she was a completely different person. She was sticky sweet with some canned lines about how so many women have their eye in this piece, and when the purchase was complete, how the previous owner will be so excited that the (expensive) desk is going to be loved just as much in it's new home. No thanks, Heirloom Consignent, I'll take my money elsewhere. Terrible customer service. read more
