When you have a couple of hundred thousand on the line, you want to be happy with your purchase on every level, and Stephanie Donell gave me such peace and mind. It was a wonderful experience. Stephanie and her team were very personable, responsive and worked around the clock, especially when it came close to closing escrow. She hopped on video/phone/email a couple times anytime I had questions and I never felt like a "transaction". She was so patient, sweet and warm, but most importantly she was experienced and knowledgeable. If I had a question she did not have an immediate answer to, she always circled back and answered after doing some research. On the day we closed escrow, Stephanie sent the cutest leather keychain with embossed lettering "home sweet home" which I found to be such a sweet and personable touch. What I found particularly impressive was that even after escrow closed, and we were settled in, the relationship was not over. Her company invested in software (Homebot) which sends an update once a month to keep us updated on the house value along with money saving tips. She always encouraged me to reach out if I had any questions, and about almost a year later, she followed up and gave me an advance heads up on what to expect for property taxes. She even personally helped me calculate estimated property taxes for 2023 so that there would be no surprises when the time come to pay. My wife spent a year dealing with these idiots. Their customer service sucks and their right hand doesn't know what their left hand is doing. We finally got is sorted out, however, they initiated an impound. Another year later and we get a letter saying they are readjusting our yearly taxes and now want a $2,000 reserve. We've decided to consult with an attorney. We never pay anything late, and our FICO is o er 800. They are scam artists.
