My wife and I have been coming to Results Fitness the past year. We used to go to Gold's before it…read moreturned into an EOS. We are looking for a great facility that is convenient in the valley but also had a good community - without being a corporate behemoth. What a great find this place turned out to be. The owner, Leo Frinco, is an award-winning athlete who really practices what he preaches. The staff is wonderful and I see the individual trainers taking time to work with their clients in a thoughtful way - vs barking commands at them. Since joining the place has already expanded twice - a nice new area was added with state-of-the-art equipment and additional stretching areas. They also added a new space where they teach dance classes, have guest speakers and hold events. Results is impeccable - you will always see Leo walking around with a spray bottle taking care of details which causes his clients, like us, to do the same. It's also great to have a gym that you can access with your own key fob - so you can come and go as you like. It's perfect gym if you live anywhere in the valley or over the hill in Bel Air like we do since it's right on Ventura near Coldwater. Great markets and lunch spots within walking distance as well.

5 stars - my go-to Equinox location…read more Equinox Studio City is my home gym and I'm here pretty much every day. I've been to Hollywood, DTLA, West Hollywood, Glendale, Santa Monica, and Studio City is still my favorite overall. Biggest thing is cleanliness. For how busy this place gets, it's always maintained. Towels are always stocked, locker rooms are constantly being cleaned, and I've never walked into a shower that was out of products. There's always staff in there keeping everything in check. Another huge win is Erewhon Studio City right next door. You finish your workout and immediately have a solid post-workout meal ready. Nothing beats that. There's no Earth Bar here, but honestly you don't even need it because Erewhon is better. You do have to time your workouts though. Early mornings before 8am are the best, weekends early are even better and usually empty. After 9-10am it starts getting packed, and evenings around 5-7pm are honestly tough if you're trying to get a smooth workout in. People complain about parking because the plaza gets busy, but I've never had an issue. I go early, get a great spot, and I'm out before it gets crazy. One issue I've raised multiple times is people bringing oils into the steam room. When they pour it in, the whole place smells, it sticks to your body and hair, and I've had allergic reactions from it. It happens less now, but when it does it completely ruins the steam room. Feels like something that could be controlled better. The vibe here is more low-key, which I like. People mind their business and just work out. Compared to Hollywood, which can feel more social and sometimes uncomfortable, Studio City feels way more normal and focused. Front desk and trainers are hit or miss. Some are great, some don't even acknowledge you. Trainers here mostly keep to themselves unless you hire them, while other locations feel more welcoming. Not a dealbreaker, just noticeable. Music is at a good level too--it doesn't interfere with your headphones, which I appreciate. At the end of the day, I'm here daily for a reason. If you figure out the timing, this is one of the best Equinox locations in LA.

The showers are pretty dirty as hair does get left behind by people who don't wrap their hair up and I feel like there's a lot of dirt and grime on the walls and the shower curtains as well. The gym equipment is standard, but I don't like when you are on the right side of the gym and it's about to be sunset because the equipment faces the window which unless you thought to bring sunglasses can be a little bit much if you are not aware All in all, there is a lot of parking as there are two levels and I would return. I just hope that they implement a more frequent and actual cleaning service.

I spoke with Lizzie, I believe was her name. She was so kind, charismatic, informative, and made me feel comfortable over the phone. So much so that as I spoke with her on the phone shortly after I came in to sign up. I want to say a window of 30-40 min maybe less. I'm giving this a try at $85 for one month full membership then I will be switching to $70 auto pay if all goes well. ACF had outdoor workouts that really kicked your butt and followed the COVID guidelines. My biggest concern was walking into a gym and being shamed for not doing the workout correctly. I remember having to do handstand push up and making a complete fool out of myself because I would fall with each attempt. Thankfully, the community and environment Karlos, John, and all the ACF coches have built made me get back up each time and try again and even modifying the workouts to strengthen the muscles to get to specific movements. ACF isn't just a gym, but my safe haven. There are days where I feel defeated and don't want to workout, but once I'm there, I feel great and happy I made it in. Also, I NEVER saw myself in spartan races. I'm in awe that I'll be completing my second run with ACF members in just a few weeks. I'm a whole different version of myself and I couldn't be more grateful for my AFC family. ‍‍‍

Lastly, this is by far the warmest LA Fitness I've been to. I'm not sure if the AC isn't working properly or if they just keep the temperature higher, but it gets uncomfortably warm, especially while working out.
